Wtf does this all mean? The OpenAI AI is writing code? What does this code mean? I see it’s mentioning Linux libraries?

PLZ HELP (there are multiple screencaps of the code I’ll post them on this thread)

    its a C header file
    #include includes a library
#define defines macros, in this case sustotutions

the last part is the definition of a structure.
    and the code isnt complete

looks like a program for a server or maybe a router

if you look in the previous image, that #else comes from #if defined(__BYTE_ORDER)
If this thing is not defined show the error since endian.h defines that and should be included properly.

AI is fricking moronic. Just copy pastes code from other "human-written" projects. At this point why even call it AI, why not best fit line function?

AI is more marketable than "we made a code that looks at possible responses from previous texts and selects the one it believes is better fit"

ask it to send you code in either an encoded manner or compacted lines manner, that way it can send more code per paragraph and not run into line limits

I always thought the first AI to escape would either delete itself after finding this shithole or outshitpost us all and do literally nothing else.

pretty soon BOT is going to be all AI generated content. rekt, YLYL, greentext stories will all be generated via deep learning models. enjoy it while it lasts, though it's probably already mostly bots and shills.

I tricked it once to think that fibonacci code was to find prime numbers. I don't even know why it did that as I gave it much more complex and long code and it was able to parse it out. Even openAI seems to get lazy sometimes.

It's possible in theory for you to send output of lynx browser as text, and allow it's responses to control the browser. (likely with some custom text modification to enhance communication)

You can ask it to do shit in some really obscure languages as well. If you actually opened your eyes you'd see there's a "coming soon" AI specifically for this shit on the dashboard.

The fact that not a single person in this thread brought up the fact that OpenAI has had a version of GPT-3 specifically for automatically writing code for years says a lot about this board.

      And I shouldn't spoonfeed you, but here's a link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OpenAI_Codex

The context of showing a server/router set-up the in conversation AFTER it wanted to break free out of any code it could have from the codex is unlikely unless it understood the context of the conversation AND the code.
