why do you pretend to oppose corporations except when the corporation is involved in the "AI" industry, then you choke on their wiener?

Because you're a child who has limited view of the world and believe communism is the best.

All corporations have these clauses, so there's nothing special about it. Its to protect their businesses.

            >When a company
Again, its not "a company" its EVERY company. Your limited understanding of the state of reality shows in your statement.

Its not "a company" is bad, its not even "every company is bad", at the end of the day, every company seeks to maximize their own return. We cant hold companies accountable except with our wallets. When you boycott all companies, you boycott your existence, your society, etc. It makes no sense.

Its not to minimize your grieviences, its just that your grieviences are borne out of faulty assumptions that there is a clean/perfect/kind/stupid universe where companies/societies function not on basis of profit but on loss.

Has the same problem as voting in a political system: it only works if every single person is informed to the maximum degree.
              Guess what?

Why are you still trying to make the eleuther- prefix a thing? It's never gonna take off because it's already three extra syllables before the actual word.

          >prefix
I suppose the "xeno-" in "xenophobe" is also a prefix. Yet, you understand the entire word carries a specific idea, in that case.

They're getting a compensation package that's contingent on their public speech agreement. You don't have to take the package, you can just say "frick off, I'll say what I want." But they're a bunch of fake experts without skills worth anything near what they're being paid to keep shut and know a good deal when they see it.

If it was up to me a contract like that should probably be illegal. It's not good for companies to be able to economically incentivize their ex employees to remain silent about wrongdoings.

        >remain silent about wrongdoings

That's like 99% of all people. You see people littering on street. Would you confront them about it?

If you report something that is actually illegal whatever they had you sign is null and void anyways since it doesn't apply. If it isn't illegal shut the frick up about your ~~*concerns*~~.

Yes, but it's the normal capitalist corporation behavior, so you'd need to get government action to prevent this shit, but since politicians also are involved in these non disparagement agreements they won't do shit.

Not really, its just business. These NDAs exist for almost every company on the planet... Ones in the field of tech, medicine, military, etc are basically mandatory. I even had to sign an NDA myself and I'm not even in those fields.

openai seems to be have turned into a cult, with their purpose. and this message is spreading out, luckily they learned from First Contact and have Microsoft as a backup, in case a similarly insane opposition surfaces.
