The first people to get cut are ironically the "AI engineers".

This is just another high-level language that can't be evaluated for correctness

yep, the only people safe are the ones researching and creating AI.

And that was enough for the entire financial system to be run on it, even to this day.

How? You still need to tell a computer what to do.

    >please print one array against this one
    >please extract a column from this matrix
The functionality will end there. So only python ML streetshitters who only do same thing over and over with slight difference are in danger.
Good luck asking it to integrate some nontrivial dynamical system or do some postprocessing more complex than "demean".
Also do you see how much fucking text you need to type to do basic shit? It's dead on arrival.

not even close to all in 10 years, but what a profoundly interesting technology

Can codex scrape or import or display dynamic information from other sites like sports betting odds/lines? (im no programmer)

No company will ever choose to use an AI developer over a human one for one simple reason: if a human developer makes a mistake, they can be held accountable, while if an AI developer makes a mistake, you're shit out of luck.

That's fine, I save/invest 75% of my income. I'll be retired by then.

All human labor will be deprecated in your lifetime. Programming is not an exception.

no, it will be my job to tell the AI what to do because everybody else is too stupid to instruct it correctly.

Pretty much this. It will take some more decades before such 'programming' is completely retard-friendly so even total non-professionals could moron up something useful.
