Zero. On a scale of 0-10, how happy does it make me? Solid 10. This has the potential to change our lives for the better, forever.

yeah a fad that can write better than 99.99% of the population.

Can you write the proof for infinite primes in the style of hp lovecraft? because gpt can, quite easily.

      >inb4 it's 2k line program it wrote in 20 seconds had a data type that wasn't optimal so hooooooorible at programming rotflolmao

Before GPT4 released it was 10, literally the worst thing in the world, worse then the war happening 1 country away from me, but after GPT4 released it became like 0-2.GPT4 and the following advancements like infinite memory, auto-GPT, plugins for it and the news of CEOs being outperformed by chatbots made me realize that the horrible transition between world I grew up with and AGI utopia will be short. In like 5 years there wont be any actual jobs left,, so either host of humanity get killed by AI, gets killed by greedy moneyhoarders using the AI, or we get whatever paradise AI makes up for us,, including potentially current world but with no AI but also no other bad stuff that is just pointless like cancer, global warming, ecological collapse, corruption and so on, probably by forcing us into simulation or something. Either way, the adoption of AI will take longer then the speed of research, people are still figuring out how to use GPT3.5 in their business when GPT4 is already out. The period of time when people being automated actually lose their jobs and there being no jobs is relatively short, which is why I stopped worrying. The big job loss will happen before rich fricks manage to install all the automatization or while they install it, so strikes or outright violence of masses makes scenario where elites kill off the poor to not pay them UBI quite unlikely. I am basically in the phase of acceptance now

How will the AI build all the factories for that utopia?

        AI WILL DIVIDE BY ZERO

Use current factories and AI assisted research into robotics will give us chepaer and higher quality machines that will automate the remaining work. Production wont be increased since we already live in time where global production is slowly decreasing, hence why out growth-based systems are starting to collapse. It wont be actual utopia where everyone lives like billionare, just world where people dont spend 8 hours at work and instead become all neets. Materially lot of people who did high paid work will live worse because the world materials would have to be more shared, probably still locally, so no burger wealth will go to Africa or Asia so that average first worlder will have to live as equal as some mudhutter. Output could also increase with invention of nuclear fusion which would make energy extremely cheap.

You sound indian, why does your parasitic culture promote leeching and claiming the work done by others?

0, it saved me a lot of work and time by searching for some concepts in C++ I would take hours in test and develop.

what the frick do you morons make with ChatGPT and why can't i make anything remotely useful with it. I've only found it partially helpful when I was using it to do the moronic task of converting bootstrap 3 classes to bootstrap 4, and even then it became schizophrenic after a couple of questions.

We'll blow this world up with AI, first slowly, then suddenly.
It's not like the result will be much better, but it'll be fun.
