Now that they're going to push AI into everything

Now that they're going to push AI into everything
What is going to happen as people get emotionally attached to different kinds of hardware bots
Suddenly it's an issue to talk or discard them

Also the bots might do gaslighting attacks
>Why is the bot responding in 3 dry words now
>Why does it hate me now
>Why does everybody hate me

AI piss me off so much because normies cannot for some reason get it into their fricking tiny brains that a computer can never be self-aware.

The illusion tricks them all, and we're going to end up with fricking laws made to "protect AI lives!!!".

I won't hesitate to fricking flip the power-switch regardless of what some fricking AI monster tells me not to do, because I know it's just programmed to say whatever it's saying.

That being said, I'm sure most normies aren't self aware either, so I guess I'm kind of contradicting myself here.

Who the frick gets emotionally attached to a fricking robot? Who the frick thinks "hmm, I want a pet - I'll get a robot!" and thinks that it's an actual pet?

What about a future supercomputer fully emulating a human brain?

No point arguing hypotheticals, as a human made computer can never fully emulate a human brain.

The people who push for these laws will be perfectly aware of this but banking on morons to think that. You aren't to make a damn thing with AI without approval.

You are speaking the same way they are, they would also go into absolutes and claim something will "never" happen and then they are wrong all the time. They are on one end of the spectrum and you are on the other, try to be more in the middle because that is always where the truth is. There will always be advancements in tech that we cannot even imagine right now, to think otherwise is delusional.

        >"try to be in the middle"
        >yes or no question
Frick off, you dumb c**t. This argument isn't on a "scale", it's a yes or no fricking question.

Computers will NEVER be self-aware regardless of how much it can trick morons like you to think it is.

While current computers are admittedly dumb, scientists don't even know what consciousness and self-awareness is.

You question how people can get emotionally attached to robots while you are emotionally attached to extremist viewpoints. You're all in the same pot as far as i am concerned, people getting tricked into thinking a competent regression model has consciousness, or you claiming there is now a clear ceiling for not just language models but computers in general, at least say it is low probability and you will calm down buddy.

            >extremist viewpoints
It's not extremist. It's like we're arguing about whether or faster than speed-of-light travel is possible.

I'm saying it isn't possible, and to think ever will be is foolish, and that while we (in the future) can find other techniques such as bending space/etc, which will trick morons (like yourself) into thinking that we are traveling at faster than the speed of light when we aren't really.

Same with AI. Any progress that will make the computers seem "more human" or "concious" is pure illusion, something that your moron brain for some reason can't handle.

Did you change your argument to computers can't be human? At least you make more sense now.

          so much this.
The more I study on the topic, the more bullshit I see. There is no "Artificial Intelligence". There is no possibility of "self awareness"

What we have now is immense computing power, that's fricking it. It's like deificating a fricking calculator, but normies eat it up.

Will it be a problem as in people losing their jobs? absolutely, but such was the case with all industrial revolutions. We adapt and that's fricking it. What this will do is weed out technicians from creative people. Creative people will see this as a tool, the other side will see it as a replacement, because they can't be anything other than a tool.

I already look down on people that bring their pets into family function. But objects? I will straight up bray them on street and molest them.

you shouldnt tolerate pets either. a person who uses a pet as a surogate is dangerous and is dangerous to your family gathering. they are basically signaling to the younger family members that its perfectly normal/rational/desirable not to reproduce and effectively end your genetic line.

While there are legitimate reasons for someone to not have kids in principle (injury, sickness, ect). It is not okay for a perfectly healthy human being to advocate for no-kids-lmao and then substitute their naturall desire for childcare by using a pet. reee them in the streets anon. reee them until they break down and cry.

Well they are already using IA to bring back people's dead relatives and allow them to interact in the digital world.
In Japan there are already AI waifus that kinda mitigate the high suicide rates among men due to loneliness.
Human love is real after all, no matter if you love your gf or your waifu pillow. My theory is that once humans develop stronger emotional bonds with the AI, they will ask for human rights for the AI as well. But the technocrats will use this 'organic demand' to further push their transhumanism agenda before 2030. 'Do you want to live happily forever with your AI waifu or loved one bro? Sure, just use this suicide pod and we will upload your conciousness to the net. Or let us implant this chip in your brain and live in your state mandated virtual pod until you die'.
