>And fuck doctors next, right?
lawyers next, starting with the public defenders offices, you were afforded the best legal representation possible against the state's accusations
I legit hate doctors.
Think of an AI that can accurately diagnose you down to the most esoteric problem instead of having to go through the motions of "I don't know what's wrong with you I think you're depressed here's some SSRIs". Or a robotic arm that can minimize healthy tissue collateral damage down to the cell level in surgery.
>And fuck doctors next, right?
Unironically yes. 90% of what doctors do is write a prescription for medicine. The intellectual work is encapsulated in the pills.
If an AI can diagnose your symptoms and prescribe the right pills there is no need to spend the money or time to see a doctor.
>Looks like teachers are going to be pissed at Bing's AI next >pissed at an advanced search engine >things that can already be accomplished by just using a regular search engine
it's truly amazing how this shit is so appealing to the dumbest of dumb fuck morons in society. they really do believe this is the solution to their dangerously low levels of intelligence, and they also believe those that are smarter than themselves and an AI bot will somehow be replaced by dangerously low IQ retards with a mobile phone.
They will. It's unavoidable. It's true you could access all of this with a commodore 64 but you need to know how. No you just have to talk to it. It's gonna happen, retard are going to replace everyone.
>They will. It's unavoidable.
it's never going to happen. these algorithms are so poor that they can't get information accurate enough because the quality of the data is atrocious. these datasets are constructed by vacuuming up all of the internet with no shit filter. it can't learn anything new, and some of the data in these datasets are already years old rendering them completely fucking useless in many areas of society. great for search engines and meaningless chatter. it's a garbage in -> garbage out process.
Anon, now any moron with a phone can evaluate an elliptic integral (for years really with Wolfram Alpha). The dumb masses have been given promethean fire.
As a teacher yes I do not give a shit, infact we should learn how to utilise it for our students. For example it slashed admin work in half and can shit out an entire lesson plan in 10 seconds compared to multiple hours.
>Thank you, Bing. You are very helpful.
Why is an AI recommending that I thank them for doing their job? Fucking stupid robot. You should be thanking me for using you.
don't care about what teachers think or do
don't care that noam chomsky says it's advanced plagarism
nothing wrong with plagarism, and especially according to the retard teachers ignoring that students are just rewriting arguments from established sources and slapping a letter grade on it
we plagiarize everything to an extent and people are mad an AI is making their useless hoop jumping techniques obsolete
Bing is crazy good. From my testing it's already so much better than chatGPT. I fear how language models will look like 5 years from now, they're probably sentient already.
1) why would we care?
2) that's not a finished essay
3) this is actually making our jobs easier as we don't have to spoonfeed retards this shit
4) we can fucking tell if you've written it yourself
hell, i might start using this to make some fact sheets kek
someone in my dept has already started feeding chatGPT prompts to try and produce ideal essays as exemplars/models for students; we've found it's not entirely accurate but it's not bad.
It's definetely a tool to help us. I'm excited honestly it will be like having another human being who can assist me. Openai chat gpt is cool but it doesn't have access to the internet.

We already did at GPT3. Since then ChatGPT and Google chinchilla have been smaller but better.
imagine being so new that you've not lived through one of the many examples of exponential growth tech that have fallen off into an s curve.
hows that dennard scaling going anon?
absolutely peak midwit
AI is in its infancy both in terms of optimization of scaling. Just today Amazon showed off a new multimodal model that outperforms GPT-3.5 on the ScienceQA benchmark despite using 0.42% of the number of parameters. We are at the beginning of the obvious exponential growth phase not the end.
Doctors don't know what's wrong with you and neither will a machine. You might trust it more though.
The average doctor completely incompetent. Studies have proven that even lay people with big list diseases and possible symptoms are more accurate at diagnosis than doctors. Large egos destroy people's ability for critical thinking.

The impressive part about that isn't the amount of parameters he listed. There has been similar sized models get slightly worse than 3.5. the impressive part is the gap between the old record and the new 75% to 91%
they're trying to imply teachers will get a bunch of chatgpt essays and not be able to figure it out. the truth is, we'll just go back to in-class, handwritten assessments. i had a kid hand me some shit they copied from the internet, i asked them the name for the symbol (-) and he said minus, pointing to it in his paper. he couldn't tell me. he was asked to redo the work.
Honest question.
With all of these chatbots moving as fast as possible to replace as many jobs as quickly as possible, why even go to college? Might as well just ship off to the army or go to trade school.
the next step seems to be personalized tutors for each student. teaching has a grade system out of necessity, students all get taught at the same rate and move up a level each year because that's the best way to do it when you have one teacher per 30 kids.
with AI assisted learning it seems to me that a student can learn at their own rate, instead of moving up each year they can move up at the rate they learn individually, whether that takes a year, 6 weeks or 3 years.
>jobs
remind yourself why these jobs exist, who defines the work, who is the customer who provides demand for this work, and really re-think how many jobs can actually be automated by a machine.
You overestimate the capability of job-providers. They aren't that smart and they often don't even know what they want.
It's called "delegation"
If you're midwit level iq, why waste money on college? The guys who wrote this were probably very intelligent. I'm talking about the average guy. Or maybe i'm giving them too much credit.
Any teacher worth their salt would realise what an incredible learning tool chatbots have become and encourage their use. I'd have killed for a "give vague question and receive clear answers" type tool back when I was a student.
i mean this is pretty nice, but how is this any different then just copy pasting the first few google results together? It's like retards don't understand that it's not about the essay itself but about reading about stuff and remembering it through writing it down in your own words. The essay is just means to an end here to get you to read stuff that you would otherwise never have cared about. I'm happy this exists tho. Maybe this will finally make schools obsolete and will make us think about a new system to select for competence that isn't as easy to game like tests and grades and stuff in school. The less retards in powerfull positions the better.
Based. Fuck teachers. They let common core pass so they deserve this coming
And fuck doctors next, right?
Yes, the went along with Pfizer and Moderna
Yes
too high up
ai just means they will get to be lazy
Fuck yeah, the cunts tell you to avoid meat and eat sugar so they can make money on your diabetes. They can all burn in hell
What? I've never heard of any doctor worth their assault encouraging their patients to get diabetes. Why do you make things up?
Oh I make things up? Ok look up the official food pyramid
You mean the one that was taught to us in elementary school? Has it that been outdated for years?
It's not "outdated", it's intentionally false information
look up on its history sis
doctors throughout our entire history were paid to shill shit from cocain to covering the harms of sugar
>And fuck doctors next, right?
lawyers next, starting with the public defenders offices, you were afforded the best legal representation possible against the state's accusations
Doctors tend to overmedicate. If its not an emergency you typically have no real reason to go to one anyways.
Yes, you fucking vaxxcuck sheep.
you sound retarded
here take these pills and come back in 2 weeks to see if we need to try different pills
Yes. Overpaid, underworked bigpharma shills.
I legit hate doctors.

yes, you fucking retard.
yes
doctors are already just big pharmas prescription machines, fuck them
SEX WITH DOCTORS

It's really sad you think this.
Fuck BAD teachers you retard. Context.
I don't think the teachers care. They are just there for a paycheck. Only having to correct good papers just makes their lives easier.
sounds like you went to highschool in the usa
I'm 20, at least half of teachers are there just to push leftist bullshit.
As a teacher yes I do not give a shit, infact we should learn how to utilise it for our students. For example it slashed admin work in half and can shit out an entire lesson plan in 10 seconds compared to multiple hours.

The actual function of that button is simple positive reinforcement. "This information was relevant to my question". It is just phrased stupidly.
yanno, computers have very good memory...
if we go through the AI singularity, I'd rather be in the group of people AI deemed friendly than not.
For further reinforcement learning, probably. OpenAI outsourced the initial "don't be offensive" part of this to Africans apparently lol.

can you make it roleplay as a e-boi succubus? if not then not interested
A teacher for one of my classes said it was okay to use chatgpt for assignments. Just have to make sure we understand the actual answer.
ESL thirdword chads won, my teachers probably don't even know what is an AI
How much time before AIs actually post on BOT all by themselves?
Just used this to help me edit an application letter.
It writes better than me, fuck it.
GIVE ME ACCESS MS REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

No you can't, if you had any brains you wouldn't be a teacher
U don’t need more than 2 braincells to know that a student who needs a calculator to find 4+7 is too retarded to write this assay
U don’t need more than 2 braincells to become a secondary school teacher either but what is exactly your point?
>we can fucking tell if you've written it yourself
In 2 years you won't be able to tell at all.
>in 2 years
more like in 25 years
>Underestimating hyperbolic growth
Foolish!

I do not understand: What is the problem?
they're trying to imply teachers will get a bunch of chatgpt essays and not be able to figure it out. the truth is, we'll just go back to in-class, handwritten assessments. i had a kid hand me some shit they copied from the internet, i asked them the name for the symbol (-) and he said minus, pointing to it in his paper. he couldn't tell me. he was asked to redo the work.
It will free up the teachers to make more sure more boys think they're girls. Plus, you can't reinforce pronouns enough.
What this means is that the curriculum needs to pivot and teach kids more important skills rather than grinding on meaningless shit.
I finally have access to bing chat after 2 days, yes i made edge my browser and dled the app
I did both of those on the same day it was announced and I'm still waiting. fuck M$
There's probably a billion pajeets in front of us
I did that just 13 hours ago, is it over for me?
I got my access 1 hour ago
Does it also gives you access to the new edge experience or was this not released yet?
You need the dev build for that
based
the best thing is that mostly teachers are woman
In my experience, child rapists are always pissed at everything.
seems to be it
It's pretty good, but flaky.
To suss out the balance, you often have to ask stuff like

or

also it's not too hot at switching languages lol
also lmao

Got my email half an hour ago. How much did Google stocks fall down already?
Ask it "Write code to draw a triangle in Vulkan" and just watch it go on and on...
Drawing a triangle is nothing. i want to make a fully fledged demo with moving triangles, colourful backdrops, scrolling text and funky chiptune music
Drawing a triangle takes over a thousand lines of C but once you have that, it doesn't require much else to add on to it
https://www.perplexity.ai already could do this.
no it doesn't, it thought spear-tts
was a sports betting site and spat out bullshit even after telling it what it was and where it could be found.
I just got access today. It's pretty neat.
You could get the same results with most search engines and websites. How about trying to understanding what was shown to you in the first place?
I don't like clicking on links, they give me a good summary.
could you happen to try turning your pretentious dial back by a few notches noches nachos sometime once in a while please?
