More like how based AI is. I hope more of this happens.

Yeah, it's called cheap chink labour. The CCP does it all the time. Pajeets also do a better job at scamming, better than any AI which is why them and China will become a superpower.

Pretty much this, like if all it takes is what is very clearly an AI generated image to fool you into selling most of your shit. You kinda deserve what you get coming to you.
Like seriously the fence, bench, and even the lamppost are all so obviously AI generated that if you couldn't just take 5 minutes to fricking think or process what you just read instead of just going with a knee jerk "EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET IS TRUE!" reaction - you got what you deserved.

I'm going to breakdown the entire situation in the OP for you since you're clearly a fricking homosexual and a moron.

The image on the left had no effect on anything. As you can clearly see from the numbers on the right of the stock tracker, what they're attempting to make look like some stock market crash was in fact around just a -0.5% drop right after a small spike. For reference, on Friday the Vanguard 500 Index Fund ETF rose almost 1.5%. The chart in the OP is well within the bounds of normal market movements, but the Twitter user has zoomed in to make normal small movements look like scary crashes because most people don't bother actually reading the numbers.

That Twitter user is a complete fricking dishonest prick attempting to influence your opinions against "AI" whatever the frick that is at this point. $500B sounds like a lot until you remember that the total market cap of public US companies sits at around $40.5T. These sorts of market movements are completely normal and everyone is a lying prick trying to influence your views.

There was no crash. All media is evil.

No more than photoshop used by someone vaguely familiar with it.
What IS dangerous is morons who despite regularly using the internet don't take into account the possibility of a fake picture being circulated on Twitter by randos.
People with 3 neurons to rattle around in their brain will (and arguably already have) acclimated to the possibility of AI generated images and will get used to recognizing AI generated images.
They'll be able to tell by some of the pixels and by having seen a few AI generated images in their life.

  16. 11 months ago
    Anonymous

It'll probably end up subsiding after a while when the commoners become more aware of newer AI advancements. If you're a person accustomed to AI shit you can pretty easily tell its fake, and I'm pretty sure it'll be the same for them soon with enough time. Plus, Congress is probably gonna assrape it until it does.

Currently though, it might be a problem
