Implications of Recall AI on Windows and privacy

After Recall AI was announced to be coming soon on windows I think us windows plebs are fricked.
>takes a screenshot of whatever you are doing every 30s
>stores it "locally" for the AI to process
>its not open source so we just know its not just stored locally
>requires you to give 256 gb of your storage for it
>mfw Microsoft is using our own pc's processing power to steal our data

Maybe you can opt out of it but I wouldnt trust it either way.

What are the implications of this? What will we do?

On the same note, the EU is pushing for a law that will force manufacturers to install a hardware backdoor onto every device that is sold in the Euro Zone. Glowies really rubbing their hands with this one.

Is it over privacy bro's?

    Just don't enable it, dumbass?
I see that as an alternative to not buy Ekran licenses on enterprise environments only, normies don't have to worry about something the won't use.

What does it have to do with the topic at hand, mr bot?

Beyond the security/privacy implications this AI shit is going to hog your system resources. Copilot+ PCs have a minimum RAM requirement of 16 GB. Windows is pig disgusting.

It doesn't consume shit, insider builds since 8 take screenshot every few seconds

          >It doesn't consume shit,
Then why does MS recommend 16 GB RAM as a minimum for this AI garbage?

yes which is why they rape you as hard as they can, because they don’t give a shit if they drive some people to Linux or Mac. So long as they’re making more money off the suckers who stay.

yea because microsoft for sure wouldnt start gimping you and making you a second class citizen by disabling features if you dont use their shitty AI

3 years from now imagine most of the OS features are intertwined with AI and it gets to the point where they drop support for the people not using it

Yes, you can do all of that without much effort. There is also macos and linux. Trust me when I say you won't miss windows when you switch to either of these.
        >but but muh gaems
Buy a console then. Or get aids. Whatever.

Opt out is not consent anyway and "well you agreed to not sue us if your data is stolen" is also not legal in nearly every country so its already on shaky legal grounds

What game other than tencent slop doesn't work just as well as it does on windows? Easy anti-cheat works fine, battle.net works fine, I'm even to use the clementine client for a PSU private server with zero issues(And better support due to being able to give it the windows 7 environment it expects)

shilling on this garbage forum is insane
even more insane is that posters on supposed technology forum are not willing to do any tweaking,
let alone comprehend that there is no privacy at all if you are connected to the internet and use a cpu that already has integrated backdoor,
what a cesspool of consumerism this board has become

morons like you make these threads every day whining. Muh privacy! Are we fricked broooos?

But then you refuse to use Linux, or learn how to hack your Win10 install to disable telemetry. Even though the relevant bot guides are available. You just keep consooming and using Windows 11 Baby Duck edition because you are addicted to videogames.

So what do you want us to say that hasn't been said already? Stop using Windows or stop being a whining b***h.

This Recall feature is not really something new. Even on Windows 10, if you press Win + Tab you get a timeline of your recent activity, which was removed earlier this year.
