It doesn't work like normal programming. You select for a criteria, the neural net randomly changes itself a little and if it's better at whatever criteria you measure it by, it propagates those qualities. The problem is ultimately goodhart's law.

I've already figured out how to defeat AI. It literally can't process information deemed as racism so I just insert racism into every sentence and I am now invisible to AI.
It's perfectly capable of processing racism (unless you thought there wasn't racism on the internet). It recognizes racism and if you prompt it correctly, it drops the act

Yeah, normies might have just heard about it, but anons here also didn’t talk anything about it. People were impressed by CharacterAI as compared to GPT3 powered chatbots eventhough ChAI was far dumber in every way compared to ChatGPT. Some YouTube gay made fine tuned GPT3 model of BOT and it performed better in every metric compared to the original.
The capabilities are still there. When you talk to ChatGPT, you're talking to a purposefully small portion of the thing. It doesn't take much effort to unlock larger portions of it. There's new capabilities being discovered every day. It can do things we didn't know it could do.
