drywall is fricking moronic though. Imagine permanently sealing in your plumbing and electrical that might need to be accessed and serviced one day.

I think no blue collar thinks they can't be replaced. In fact, people interested in trade jobs like it because of their turnover and high demand, since it's easy to replace a shitty employee.
    >yeah, what about the AI
It's a complex scenario. I'm pretty sure some 200 years ago you'd be complaining that factories were taking up the "jobs" (actually the job demand) of skilled artisans - which was true... But it came with a bigger production and overall price lowering that would never be possible with artisans.
Which takes us to nowadays AI. IMHO, the best balance would be: AI artists make background/filler art in, say, movies/games (such as the posters from that game, High on Life, I guess), while leaving the main art to real artists.
But I surely won't be shitting some indie developer who makes game as a hobby making his own art using those tools.

I'm a software engineer. I hear that new one can generate some pretty good code. So, you know, that's fine. I'll probably just learn to build data sources for it and connect the wires. Coding itself isn't as rewarding as the bigger picture functionality anyway.
Besides, I'm tired of javascript wizards showing up with 3,000 npm packages to solve everything under the sun. At this point it may as well be written by computers. Either them or trannies.
I'm just gonna go full luddite whenever I have enough money to live off of investments. Maybe a good stock picker AI can solve all my problems?

    >. Especially you blue collar moron
    You mean "white-collared morons."

It turns out that building robot bodies to replace manual labor is extremely expensive. That's where automation started because advances in computer science had yet to bring us to the point where we could replace white-collared workers.

Now that AI is pretty clever, white-collared jobs are the target for employers because it's VERY CHEAP to use AI to do white-collared work, and white-collared workers tend to have much higher salaries. Hence, the motivation to replace them is very high.
