The site and most major subreddits are run and heavily moderated by shitty people, and any non-shitty comments are deleted and the author banned/shadowbanned, so only people with the shitty opinions are allowed to participate and it becomes a giant self-reinforcing shit bubble.
Everything on there is just so comically one-sided. It's something I'd expect to see from a Chinese website censored by the CCP or some other entity that lacks the ability to actually come up with propaganda sophisticated enough to seem organic.

Reddit is weird because they have unpaid mods, yet they are a multi billion dollar corporation. The mods of reddit are essentially volunteer Walmart greeters.
Unpaid moderation makes sense for

however the moderators believe the propaganda put forth by corporations/DNC/WEF, and so they control the conversation and delete dissenting posts.

saw a post this morning, black guy talking about bi-weekly pay is a scam.
commenters mostly from europe saying, naw, monthly is great.
the reality is the targeted audience is americans, so workers get annoyed and petition their company to use Stripe, for daily payments instead of bi-weekly; while european companies don't want to pay for the service.
so it's honestly quite complex, how it get so fucked.

In fact, most would consider this a conspricy theory, which in this case, would be spread by russian disinformation agents to sow distrust.
