how do you plan on dealing with AI addiction ?

how do you plan on dealing with AI addiction ? when SD first came out i spent the first couple of months doing nothing but prompting in my free time ,even forgot to buy my groceries multiple times. Same thing happened when CAI first came out. As the tech gets more advanced it will become even more addictive and give rise to a new generation of NEETs. Is the society ready for it ?

          you are, probably.

though if one is only prompting for lust, that's sad.

If you have(or train) a good imagination you can immerse yourself in fictional worlds much better than with help of AI.
Just meditate and immerse yourself in the wonderland.

Weird take but this literally sounds like what hackers said about programming when microcomputers became available to the masses in the 70s. What we're doing seems useless, but it's also harmless so I say keep doing it if it makes you happy. Who knows what kinda use these skills will have in 30 years as the technology progresses...

How do you guys even get addicted to SD and CAI? Both of these are so limiting I get bored after a hour or something. There are better AIs out there that I slowly get addicted to and don't even know if I want a way out.

I'm a poorgay and that stops me from prompting terabytes of tohsakas

I yet to touch it. Need to finish re-organizing my small home infrastructure first.
I plan to channel it into my hobby.
I have a small booru and I plan to do several upgrades.
One of them would be the suggestion pipeline.
People type what they want to see and vote for interesting ideas.
Sounds like a good place to apply a small GPU farm for image generation.
It's only ideas for now, though.

Too much typing, I'd rather draw at a certain point even if it looks bad

Never seen or felt the appeal.
Do you feel actual satisfaction from this? Tried it out and it's honestly kinda fricking boring, felt like I was playing some shitty gacha instead of doing something with my life.

    I don't. We're fricked.

Same honestly, but then I got bored of it and now I honestly think AI is a total meme.
It's like I got fricking vaccinated but for real.

Don't want to sound like an /x/ schizos, but I actually felt my capacity for cognitive thought declining after playing around with SD and ChatGPT for months.

There's nothing schizo about that. Of course doing nothing but consuming media rots your brain.

the trick is to always keep pushing
and yeah being able to just get answers will rot your brain
you always need to be skeptical

I don't have the hardware for it, but I'd prompt a lot of pregnant Marge Simpson stuff
