Bad call, as soon as it actually becomes economically viable to use AI for this, Disney will just fire all their draw-slaves and exploit their trademarked characters at an even better margin.
This. No one except a certain 13% demographic would wear the AI created shoes. Both are shit though. Footwear doesn’t need to be creative. It’s already been perfected. A brown boot.
The prompt for the ai generated one was making a shoe design crossed from cuttlefish patterns and stained glass and it created a render in 3 seconds. A human could never create a design that quickly. And we are in the beginning stages of ai being able to design. What do you think it will look like in 10 years? Humans will lose their creativity.
AI has already been used for a decade to design PCB layouts. A rendered image is not a manufacturing process. It's also not a printer that can print arbitrary designs.
Because those are basically impossible, the physical space is much more unforgiving than just manipulating image pixels.
Right now AI advances just mean spambots and shills will get increasingly annoying.

couple years, depends on how quick shoe design companies find a way to "borrow" peoples designs for training data to train a cyclegan

If AI can create topology that isn't fucked then I will actually kneel before Roko's Basilisk
>It’s already been perfected
No it hasn't. Shoes overall are too narrow and cause foot issues. Now if AI designed (of its own accord) "barefoot" shoes that are actually better for us as humans I would pay attention - and given how racist it is (because of what it has read) etc this will surely come. Unless stopped it tends to tell the "truth".
Realistically speaking, AI will simply be used to supplement human creativity. The job of the human will be picking and altering the base dataset , and then picking the best final designs AI comes up with. Theres definitely money to be made from this, but you gotta get deeper into the industry for specifics.
>How do I profit from ai replacing human creativity?
that's not how you should view it.
ai is taking the culmination of successful human design and producing a new thing. what you get is something eyecatching, but mostly gaudy in nature. the flaw with humans is that they cannot invent. we cannot invent what god/nature has already provided us. to just use one's imagination alone, you end up with a dud of a project. we require a bank of information from various sources. if you take the human and tell them to build and thoughtfully design with the assistance of AI or other successful tools. The human result will usually be most appealing.
>AI >"creativity"
so don't get me wrong, AI will replace 90%+ of human graphic design talent soon because it does a 'good enough' job for free. But it will never be truly creative. It will always be stuck remixing/recombinating prior human creative accomplishments into shitty mashups that don't break any ground and don't say anything new. They'll look cool, because the source material they're drawing from/learned from looked cool, and indeed it's a great litmus test for midwits who always cream their jeans over the groovy colors and patterns that GANs generate even though it's all just aesthetic vomit at its core. But they don't do anything truly interesting, they don't advance the discourse.
Tell a GAN to draw a picture of zujibee, which is a kind of carnivorous tropical bird that instead of laying eggs simply dies and rolls downhill into a gully, where the chick hatches inside the body and eats its way out with a specialized serrated beak, using the carcass of the mother as a starting meal to establish itself while staying hidden from predators in the gully it fell into. The AI won't draw that because it doesn't exist, I just made it up. I could draw it if I wanted to, but twenty million neural nets spinning their gears for eternity will never do it. They'll just draw lorikeets at a tea party because that's within the bounds of 'shit humans have thought of and done before which we can copy from and spit back out at them'
> replacing human creativity
It won’t. AI art and text just helps with brainstorming and automates tedious logical tasks. Still need real artists and writers to make true aesthetic decisions.

Good call
zamn, that went hard

That pedo company won’t last forever
Eventually everyone will refuse to show their kids subliminal sex in cartoon form

Buying Disney stonk is retard level

Not shareholders
yeah it's gonna be interesting.
Buy shares in prozac and rope.
w2c dem new kicks? fr
both look like shit, fashion industry went to shit a long time ago.
>retard misses the point
>DA HECKING AI WILL REPLACE HUMANS!!!! JUST LIKE MY HOLLYWOOD HECKING MOVIES!!!!
There is no point.
>AI can design garbage no one wants in 3 seconds
He didn't miss anything

guarantee you that millions of low IQ 13-22 year old mulattoes are drooling over those hideous shoes
i think you miss the point of what art is. its an expression of human emotion.
ai can imitate art but it cant create it.
Yeah but there’s enough human output and AI improvements for them to imitate art better than 99% of humans
What people like this don’t get is how bad AI was 10 years ago and how far we will be in another 10-25 years
its still not created from a particular feeling. there is no transfer from mind to the physical realm.
That's not art, that design and illustration.
HUGE difference
>that
* that is

The human one is better and more practical. The AI one is a mess.

This is surely needed in Asia. They are all disgusting races of conformists.
Holy shit I want those AI shoes
>bullish signal
Zoomer detected
>ai creativity is literally moron-tier garbage
lol
creativity is not a fucking race. the ai shoe looks ike shit btw.
>absolute bricks

Invest in Nvidia, they do some of the best research in the field.

>Shoes that look good on digital pictures
>Same shoes look dull and disgusting irl with natural light and without the brightly colored digital gloom
Who would watch such a trashy video?
I'd wear the ones on the left though.
Actually does anyone know how to make shoes? I want to make the ones on the left for myself personally. Thinking the top part will be stainless steel.

Take solace in the fact that AI will never know how it feels to bust inside of a woman.
