The thing is that google's search feature has been ass and horrible for searching for ages. I mean it wouldn't surprise me if the AI overhype kicks consumers in the ass and makes them all get on board with the idea that google actually kind of sucks, but it'd still be kind of sad that that's what it took.
That's probably a clear sign that the AI search not economically viable. Which we all know, but Microsoft should learn to just take the hit to dislodge support. It would be a good investment.
>whey will just return to Google again and MS will lose the momentum.
Return to what? Google's also non-released AI?
It costs pretty much nothing to be on the bing waitlist, I'll stick with whatever service has the better AI
They spent so much time and money fucking up their search algorithm to pander to gnomish media companies and the ADL that it's incredible it even still works at all.
that leaked employee emotional support meeting headed by Brin after the 2016 election sealed it. They were already kind of losing their mojo but after that it was all-in about protecting Our Democracy.
More than anything I'm bullish less on their AI, for which they have a strong research team, but on their dominance in data collection -- youtube, email, search, maps, scanned books, shopping, chrome, android, etc.
Also I think OpenAI architecture has scaling issues, Google can scale its AI better in the long term architecture wise but it has to catchup at the level ChatGPT is
todays google is like 1998 yahoo. dead man walking
google search sucks now
>now
They have Android to keep them afloat for a while.
They have some time to catch up still.

MS is taking too long to accept people from the waiting list.
This. Not even a matter of impatience, they need to keep up the momentum they built up to stay in the media.

How long have you been on the waiting list for? I got on the list yesterday and I'm still not in
nta but I'm already 4 days and still waiting
Since day 7.
It is taking too long, and they are misleading people saying that they will have priority, putting everything (Edge, MSN, etc) as default.
But when people see that they won't be accepted immediately doing this, whey will just return to Google again and MS will lose the momentum.

Whatever it takes. Fuck google. It was about time.
I hope Google gets completely destroyed, they are pure evil and the embodiment of the Antichrist
They spent so much time and money fucking up their search algorithm to pander to gnomish media companies and the ADL that it's incredible it even still works at all.
they should just revert back the code base to 10 years ago and google would be fixed
Nah, then it might show racism.
That would mean it is definitively still broken.
