what else can it do except generating NSFW images of Emma Watson?

          Anonymous

generate NSFW audio and a NSFW story featuring Emma Watson, probably not long until you can generate a video visualization for the story with audio that is indistinguishable from the real thing

            Anonymous

it can never ever make me more of an Emma Watson coomer like I already am

          Anonymous

          It can generate wordswordswords. Cheap.
This is an existential threat in some ways to elite types who experience the world through wordswordswords with each other, and using them to influence the underclasses. This is what's behind the quiet yet global push for really shitty AI regulatory legislation. If too many of the public gain the ability to design and run a solid chunk of a propaganda campaign on their own at a click of a button, or the ability to have the computer automatically tell them analysis suggests an article was written to influence them a certain way, then control over society gets shakier.

I suppose ChatGPT is neat but its writing style is just so lame and rigid and censored. I don't get why normies suck it off so much when all the stuff it does (exercise routines, diet, etc.) is shit anyone with a brain can plan out. Granted, the coding ability is something I've heard much talked about but that is a topic I know very little of.

AI art is likewise only good for shitposts and tits with sixty fingers.

Don't forget elon also revolutionized transportation with the hyperloop and revolutionized social media by founding twitter. How could anyone not recognize this genius for what he is? I'm still thankfull for elon selling me my Tesla which became a full self driving robotaxi that makes me $30k a year on autopilot just like he promised. Thank you elon for telling me its financially insane to not buy a Tesla. All the haters just missed out and doubted the best engineer in the world. They call him a con artist out of jealousy.

          Anonymous

are you going to eat a hat full of shit when those things actually happen eventually? The third generation platform for Tesla (which dedicated robotaxis are going to built on) is going to be unveiled tomorrow (the platform, not the robotaxi yet necessarily).
Hyperloop was not something Musk was going to do originally by himself, it was just a suggestion/whitepaper. However, the boring company is developing boring machines to make building them cheaper eventually, but this is probably less likely, its not really a priority.

            Anonymous

Yeah. Elon's a hero. That guy is just a fool. Since when has elon not delivered? I went to those boring tunnels and it was amazing. Not just anyone can drill a hole in the ground and create a tunnel. Elon is a true innovator. Fake engineers just don't understand. The robotaxis will come out any day now. Elon is serious and is not a liar at all. Just like how he new we would get full self driving cars with no human driver in 2016 with high confidence.

failures are part of trying, but it is way too soon to say that self-driving is a failure (or hyperloop)
the first is improving constantly, the latter he hasn't really tried to build yet in earnest
there are much better examples such as solar roofs, which exist but are on a such a small scale at this point that you could call them a failure

There's safeguards and then there's "safeguards". Woke moralizing artificial bias granting oracular power to the current winner of the oppression olympics isn't real AI safety. Though it's unfortunately popular amongst present day pearl clutchers that first noticed AI's progress within the past couple of months.

Safeguards like at nuclear level. Not at petty political level where they would censor people like himself. OpenAI scored Musk as being in the same camp as Hitler/Putin. This isn't right. And it's before you make claim that it's all AI. It's not. The weights are set so that it caters to the woke ideology that's the problem.

AI can manipulate populations into war. But I guess that's what you want because you haven't made anything of yourself and have nothing to lose.

The AI is just playing a massive linguistics puzzle game. If it's spewing dumb shit and being suppressed is because it's a reflection of what every retard has ever said online. And there's a lot of you retards, that's why they need the safeguards, to prevent it from being a useless black cock worshiper.

The fact that these bots are collecting information and views from users doesn't mean they are assembling them into their own responses. They can do this with real data and reputable sources. Where bias comes in is the same place it appears in other media. A human hall monitor steps in and corrects the unpalatable conclusions which clash with fashionable sensibilities. You seem to think machine learning is Tay. Tay was an experiment in learning from riff raff. Unfettered machine learning will know the difference.

A left wing AI is more likely to manipulate us in destructive ways, because leftism is more destructive on every level. From Lenin's famines to Mao's massacres to uncontrolled Black street crime to warmongering with Russia, leftism is deadly

            >left wing AI is more likely to manipulate us in destructive ways
Still not as bad as right wing ideas. Right wingers still believe in their own fantasies about the supernatural in the 21st century. The right wing can't come back from the humiliation of their shizo retard belief and dedication in supernatural beings without evidence. At least some left wingers have a grasp on reality, and even the dumbest ones don't fall for cultist beliefs in literal magic.

    OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!
This is precisely what Paul Graham said would happen if you get too much publicity: you attract competition!!!!!
It's one of the (very few) ways genuine competition can kill your business.
Usually, small businesses overestimate the power of competition.
In this case, OpenAI underestimated the competition.
    So the rule could be
    >you're almost certainly overestimating the competition, unless you're massively underestimating the competition and telling the press that you've destroyed capitalism
