No. Chatgpt being able to program well is a meme.

Hell, I asked it earlier today to show me how to save cookies from the python requests package. (I was being lazy, and just wanted to copy-paste).

Something that should have been simple as fk. What it ended up doing was faking methods called .save and .load.

no, gpt-4 would give the correct answer the first time, and probably teach you a couple new techniques and how they differ

Usually you can prompt it to write the code for those methods. It's better that it works this way, because you might have specific existing code that you want to call. You can also paste in the definition of existing types/methods and tell it to use those.

nope, because the AI won’t allow you to call it a fricking homosexual, whereas customers will expect a person to tolerate it

Yeah it's terrible. I used to have a cozy job back at the office. We made sure car parts arrived on time Phoenix & Arizona. Only way to ruin my day was when I messed up on the analytics reports, which happened rarely. I worked in this place for 12+ years, had the time of my life. One day ChatGPT arrived. He didn't even look at me. He just sat there in the chair and started coordinating all car parts in a flawless manner. His analytics reports? Perfect. I got that look and I knew it was time to go. I'm homeless now, eating cat food twice a day, living around drug smokers. I lost access to all commodities human civilization had to offer to humans. The machines won.

You've have never made a single programming project if you think this thing (even GPT-4) can actually replace anyone, except maybe helpdesk pajeets and even then people will demand actual human they can vent on.
