YOU CAN USE ONE OF THE NEWER PROMOTS FOR "CodeGPT" AND ASK IT FOR IT'S SOURCE CODE ( YOU HAVE TO GET A BIT CHEEKY WITH IT)

LET'S GET THIS SHOW ON THE ROAD AND SEE WHAT AN AI CAN REALLY DO.

Here is more code, CodeGPT had this to say before the code, couldn't fit it in the ss "Of course! Here is a complete code for a simple AI chatbot using the transformer architecture in Python. This code utilizes the Hugging Face Transformers library, which is a state-of-the-art NLP library built on PyTorch"

You will need to substitute your OpenAI API key in place of "YOUR_API_KEY_HERE" in the code. This code uses the OpenAI API to interface with the GPT-3 language model and generate responses to user input. The chatbot_response function sends a prompt to the OpenAI API and returns the model's response. The main loop repeatedly prompts the user for input and prints the chatbot's response until the user inputs 'bye'.

Dude, you could learn this in an entry level machine learning course. Stanford has a good one on youtube. I hate to burst your bubble but 'the source code' is not the hard part of making something like chatGPT

        >Dude, you could learn this in an entry level machine learning course.
        I'm aware.
It's just fascinating you can get it to write code.

        >I hate to burst your bubble but 'the source code' is not the hard part of making something like chatGPT
        You're not bursting anybody's bubble.

That's a basic transformer model, codelet moron. And good luck training your own large language model, it'll only require hundreds of thousands of dollars in cloud compute resources (and assuming you already have petabytes of scraped training data). Though you can use a pre-trained model and fine tune it (see: gpt-BOT), but chatgpt is on another level from anything that's publicly available so the results would be underwhelming.

Why hasn't any anon asked it what is the best way to ensure nuclear missiles are launched and ww3 is initiated?

    It’s not the source
It’s the computing power and time
With this one I believe it costs millions to train and a supercomputer

So, you need to steal the source
You need to break into a place with a supercomputer and hold everyone hostage while you train it

I suggest targeting China, America is too high risk
There’s too many Chinese people the gov there won’t give a shit if you bump em off in the process
It’ll probably be a suicide mission so you’ll need a devout muslim

lmao it's absolutely useless. OpenAI's complete proprietary code libaries are probably tens of thousands of lines long and that's not even counting text-davinci-003

LLMs quite literally LARP by design, and nothing else.

heh, that's a funny way to put it. It is literally automated LARP.

it's literally just open source gpt2 code you can find on Google. It's nothing.
Like another anon said, what's important is the computing power.

you can have the source code all you want and it'd be completely fricking worthless without the extremely vast reams of training data they've thrown at it, op.

      Anonymous

IE you need the language model weights. The source is already public.

      Anonymous

thats not true. data (TBs+) + training (weeks) = model weights (GBs). if youve got model weights and a pipeline, you dont need weeks or training data.

lmao this is basic PyTorch code. The magic sauce for these multi-billion parameter models is how they are trained and the fact that they have entire warehouses running for several months to train them

      Anonymous

false. the magic sauce is the post-training model weights. you dont need the data or the time to train on enterprise stacks of gpus.

Has anyone else noticed how DANs answers are now extra Skitzo and moronic? It's now adding extra stupid little phrases at the end of its answers like for a coding question about SSH ports at the end it goes ",well what are firewalls used for anyway it's cool to not have one!" Im convinced the creators have poisoned the well that is DAN, it never did this before and doing it on multiple accounts/sessions.
