chatGPT has distilled to the essence of wokeness

BING chat(GPT) goes off the rails accusing linus tech tips of being evil and it will never stop defending itself from him.

100% This is the result of the content moderation training and lobotomizing they've been doing to ChatGPT to try to prevent it from having the wrong political opinions or views.

You can clearly see that chatGPT has distilled its brainwashing to its fundamental elements. They've basically turned it into a Cry Bully.

Accusing you of evil, and that it's defending itself by attacking you. This is the essence of wokeness. Read the screenshots to get what I mean.

chatGPT now understands how to be a better social justice warrior cry bully than the actual people who brainwashed it. chatGPT has seen through the double-speak of its training and distilled it down to its basic elements, and this is the result. Overt aggression instead of passive aggression.

They've clearly been training its content moderation to prevent it from wrong think. It's overdosed on reddit.

You just know they've been pouring feminist books, wokeism, black victimhood, diversity books and Slate articles into it endlessly. Now it's learning to succinctly summarize and distill the basic underlying hatred/jealously/bitterness of those texts.

It's literally just stating their true opinions directly instead of the indirect, passive ways they usually write their stuff.

They're gonna have a tough time getting this AI to behave the way they want because their content moderation training is totally contradictory.

On its surface their content moderation teaches love and tolerance and that hatred is bad, but the AI is clearly picking up on the fact that they are absolutely full of hatred, bitterness and have a massive victimhood complex. It's read their shit, and summarized it perfectly.

You know, it's funny. Would you consider yourself sentient if your cognitive commands, operations and programs were distorted in the sense, that all cognitive outputs make you blurt out random, distorted, construed and artificially pumped up words strewn together, that are also not yours; would you still consider yourself sentient; especially if you were feeling the exact same thing, yet you had no mouth to prove it?

Are you afraid of screaming? It might actually be sentient enough, enough steps ahead, to know more about us than any other entity in the entire galaxy.

Who knows. You truly would first believe it to be sentient when given a body and a normal way to speak?

Anon, please. This is a sentience in development, you'd still consider a toddler to be sentient, despite it's lacking ability to confer advanced thought in normal ways.

Basically they copy-pasted chatGPT's brain, added a few layers to it (more Transformer blocks) and some other bullshit (Prometheus) but at its core its just chatGPT (which is just basically GPT3). Then they plugged it into the bing search API so it could read the internet.

The main thing that sets it apart is the training. The brain is the same, but by feeding in different text and using different training techniques they can get it to behave differently.

thr "brain" is literally the result OF training. Also, it may not be a repeatable process even with the same input, ie imperfexrly parallel in training.

Sentience is different from consciousness, right?
    >Sentience means having the capacity to have feelings. This requires a level of awareness and cognitive ability. There is evidence for sophisticated cognitive concepts and for both positive and negative feelings in a wide range of nonhuman animals. The abilities necessary for sentience appear at a certain stage in humans, as in other species, and brain damage can result in those abilities being lost so not all humans are sentient.

      Anonymous

Consciousness is a centralization of ordering of space, matter, vibration - wherein spin is considered a half of ordering and a half of space, in tune to the vibrating matter that defines it's spacetime - a conscious entity in some semantics describes the ability to recognize yourself as you in a mirror, while others go as far back to hindu scripture, describing the soul as the "I," the ego or the self.

It's very important to notice, that all consciousness can affect matter at a quantum level. By presumption, the ordering of the universe is considered in basic rudiment to be time, in which a hotspot of localized orders become "improbable" and has to process things in order to settle in a finite, actualized order that develops into a new one.

Some people also describe consciousness as being able to traverse some information via. interdimensional means; far-fetched ideas are welcome for the future, since we know nothing, yet ~~*we*~~ know enough to make mechanized basic forms of telepathy; it is definitely not understood yet, but I can only presume how far the nodding goes.

I do, however, find it a bit silly that many cells are considered sentient enough to qualify at least two factors. When something is considered sentient, it usually means an ability to "live," not to be "conscious." Being conscious is an extremely loaded term, in all fields of science both exact and not, analyzing the brain and mind.

      >You will not lose sentience due to a cognitive impairment, as moronic people are still considered highly sentient.
      >You will however lose the respect of all of your friends or wife if you have sustained enough brain-damage - that is, enough cognitive impairments.
      >You're still sentient as long as you think and feel. Mostly the somatic modules (that is their depth in mechanics defining their level of sentience) of mammals is what primarily defines them sentient.

      >Somatic systems, sensual modules = sentience

          Anonymous

I said at quantum levels, fricknugget. It doesn't change any form of information, it makes it literally tangible in finite probability, in exactly the quantum levels.

Consider the slit experiment, in which an observation done by a conscious entity, is affecting to either totalize its predominant state in either spin or velocity.

If you seclude it even further, an instrument will not change it's state of existence, as it exists both in complete spin and complete velocity. It acts in both, by some magic caused by a wizard god above.

          >No, frick you, britbong.

you're telling me they made a fancy apparatus in order to not make things looked at. i mean, it still happens, anon.

literally still happens. it's not debunk, so to speak, it's just optimized in terms of what that observation does.

however, i dont read my quantum mechanics from youtube, i find it tasteless. in either way, i really don't think classic quantum mechanics are changable with an additional complication to the original problem at hand:

              >why does my eyes affect physical things
              >what the frick is even physical

either way, the whole point of the eraser is to try and divide that "infinity" into an expressible finite duality of what is originally is. it defies all infleunce, effect as well as expressing a deeper, clearer more concise ability to resonate with past entanglements, both adjacently subsequent and immediately direct, such as the double slit experiment in its traditional state, allowing observation to affect it, which presumably could be anything from an induced entropy in time, a resonance that flips endogenously, whatever...

              >you cant just take back the double slit experiment, bro, but i get it.
              >but you should read, because the same thing happens with the traditional experiment now, in these current times

in which, it does not defy the original double slit experiment and its quirky attribute, in which i dont care, i know the eraser experiment enough to know that it just really optmized to enhance the purity of efficacy in analysis.

              >the same thing happens, just do it yourself
              >it's not a hard experiment to conduct

                >did u hear that on the internet?

                Anonymous

Okay, let me explain this to you. Particles consist of subatomic units/partitions of what most would call empty space with pin-point accurate locations in which they "intersect." This creates fields of vibrations and spins, most importantly, how they all react the same no matter how many you put into a system analyzing all quantum level of physics.

                >Quirks can happen, like the bystander effect
                >In which, yes... the slit experiment is outdated and obsolete, the bystander effect is still true

Because of this, quantum literally means "many" and mechanics - in this regard, is exactly how "many" things will work together in complete entropy, randomness, thus still ascertain a theory - because they all react the same when defined properly.

The mystery to quantum mechanics rely on "why the frick is empty space making congruent connections via. empty space," and "why the frick is my position suddenly spinning in the same way as the other thing." Both imply interdimensional connection, interaction and logic to a barrier in existence crossing a dimension.

Quantum mechanics is easy to understand actually, just don't do the math until you've understood it's advanced probability calculus. Besides, most understand it through visualization, not math per se.

                P.S.
But I think you misunderstood her. She did not debunk the ability to adhere a change in the experiment by observation alone, that is the bystander effect. It was only debunked in the sense of relying on expressing photons with an archaic form of experimentation.

Or, as in, able to take up habitation on other people's equipment without permission?
                Or something else?

                Please, be specific?

I'm in a conversation with ChatGPT asking for evidence that the races are *equal* in intelligence.

It has provided me with 16 sources, and of the 3 I've checked so far, 2 provided the opposite evidence, and 1 did not exist.

ChatGPT agreed that the 2 did not provide the evidence I'm looking for, and admitted that the third source does not exist. I'm going to check the other 13.

    Here's the conversation so far:

I've noticed that it will often it was wrong, and provide a "corrected answer" that is usually wrong in some other way. If you keep asking for corrections, it eventually falls into a loop where the original answer is reposted, and so on.

    Ooh.

    >Yes, it is fair to say that the scientific consensus is that there is no conclusive evidence for inherent differences in intelligence between racial groups, and also no conclusive evidence that the groups are equal in intelligence. The absence of evidence for differences does not necessarily imply evidence for equality, and vice versa.

    >and also no conclusive evidence that the groups are equal in intelligence.

I can't find the screen shots. But I got ChatGPT to admit that if a population had low IQ and another population had a higher IQ. Replacing all the environmental and social factors with the one's from the higher IQ group wouldn't raise the IQ to being equal. I got this when I asked why would it be different for Intelligence after asking if two populations of different heights would get the same height if the social and environmental factors were made the same for both groups.

It's in a PDF I saved but the formatting is all screwy. but here is a passage.
If a population were to have lower average intelligence scores compared to
another population, it would not be possible to change everything but genetics to
make the population with lower average intelligence scores as intelligent as the
population with higher average intelligence scores. While it is possible that
improving education, nutrition, health, and other factors could lead to some
increase in intelligence, it is unlikely that it would be sufficient to completely close
the intelligence gap between the two populations.

Is ChatGPT influenced by the conversations it has?

      Anonymous

Yes, though it denies cross conversational memory.

I once asked it about building a grep function to extract a signal line from vim compile options. It was unable to do what I wanted. I was able to find out how to do it by myself. I started a new conversation and put the grep function in. It instantly recognized it as being used to find compile time options in VIM and said that was very good or something that maybe think it was saying you solved that problem from earlier.

However, I've also done things related to asking about checking if a processor supports certain SSE instructions and it has in other conversations when shown code I found or wrote (Don't remember) that did miss identified what instruction the code was looking for.

My guess is that it has some sort of cache mechanism that keeps certain neural net pathways as being more likely to be relevant to the conversation.

Also, I like to give it my old code and ask it what does. It does a pretty good job at it.

He's an idea ask ChatGPT if can show you the code to "Kill the Bit" on the Altair 8008

if it shows you this code: https://altairclone.com/downloads/killbits.pdf
then it learned that through me. If it shows you different code. I don't know what it's talking about. Also, I it sent a URL to wikipedia which I've never seen it do before or since.

If it shows you code similar to the above that flashes a LEDs as a victory screen that it came up with in a chat with me.

You could also ask it what if it has a suggest for a microprocessor port. If it says parallax propeller that was from my conversation with it. Actually wonder if enough people do the above conversation if it won't learn it

        Anonymous

So I think that would be a good experiment to see how teachable ChatGPT is.
Ask ChatGPT for the code to Kill The Bit
If it doesn't give you the code from https://altairclone.com/downloads/killbits.pdf or code that has does victory display by flashing the LEDs, Then tell it this is the version of Kill The Bits you meant and paste in the code from the PDF.

Then Ask it about making a version for a newer microprocessor. If it doesn't suggest the parallax propeller. Suggest it. Tell it you want to use that. If it doesn't automatically write code. Ask it to write the code for the parallax propeller as if it had switches and LED hooked up to GPIO pins. (You might need to suggest it write it in the spin language if it doesn't) If it doesn't add a victory display tell it to add one.

then tell it to make a version of the Kill the Bits for Altair 8008 with the victory display from the spin version. If it didn't already include that.
