OP here. I didn't generate them. They're just some random logos by a designer I found.

No, good logos are unique in that they require human ingenuity to design, you need to distill a lot of human experience into something small and simple in an elegant solution humans click with, AI struggles with basically every step of that process

      Anonymous

No, they don't. AI better. Very simple. Cheaper too.

Only you morons think human art is relevant anymore. If AI art can generate great illustrations, it can no doubt generate great and comparable corporate logos. Any other argument is high-tier cope.

There's no huge sample size of ingenious logos to parse for every situation in order for pixel weighing AI to matter, most cases are unique and have different demands clients have trouble explaining to people, let alone AI

Take what he says with a grain of salt. Logos are just images, train an AI to create logos and you will have what you want. No one has done that yet, if you jump on it you could literally be a millionaire.

Could they be just coping with their social anxiety with some "intellectual superiority" bullshit? Lastly; Not an argument, nobody can explain what sentience is without resorting to some vague answer that also happens to include smart apes whether they like it or not.

It's going to easily make corporate logos probably in a few months to a year, that isn't a far leap. Don't tell me you went to school for graphic design LMAO

Corporate logos are soulless money laundering trash, they have no reason to relegate that function to AI

Perfect to delegate to AI. No one has to pay money for a simple logo anymore.

Can't you read moron, the point of corporate logos is money laundering, they cost millions to "make", if you let AI make them they lose their main purpose

            >AI doesn't think, it weighs pixels
For logos, it probably needs to be trained to generate SVG instead (as that has the sorts of tools suitable). Shouldn't be too hard.
Remember: AI doesn't understand that things are pixels. It just plays with abstract patterns (or at least abstract to it).

That one was optically balanced by a human to ignore mathematical precision, it's not a perfect circle because it would look like it has a jutting underbite in that case, a subtlety lost on AI and an npc like you

If your logo only looks ok after you draw a bunch of lines through it, it isn't a good logo.

Thankfully that one looks great even without the lines, like a really reliable and trustworthy European home/roof brand, modern yet with implied tradition and expertise

Logo designers already iterate through a lot of garbage options to get to one good one just like proompters, you still need someone with taste, design knowledge, visual library, knowledge of history and trends etc to put it together in a professional way that works across digital and print use cases, doesn't accidentally plagiarize someone etc.

Unlike traditional art, time isn't as much of a factor, both in learning the trade and making individual logos, the citibank logo cost $1.5 million, took 5 minutes to make, and could've been made by someone with no knowledge of art.

      Anonymous

Logo design already has a really low skill floor, you're not exactly skipping a step by resorting to AI the way you do with art or writing or programming. The knowledge and taste to pick out a good AI logo are the exact same as the ones necessary to design one from scratch, not much would change as career success in design is already more about selling yourself over all the oversaturated competition and not raw skill or talent or creativity etc.
