Did I stutter b***h?
and? we are the 0.1%
The chosen people?
Whose income/taxes will subsidize your meager existence? Remember, you are a parasite, not autonomous.
Whose income subsidies your wages? Autonomy is an illusion.
I love you, anon.
Good move in the right direction but in some places it would become infested with homeless very quickly.
They probably will still have managers and janitors there
so goon and a robot instead a wagie
>a robot
Uhhh r9k users don't have jobs anon
All they have to do is ditch the dining area concept, it's old and obsolete and an endless source of expenses.
You've never been to a McDonalds early AM have you? If there's no good home-town diner, most of the old men meet there to drink coffee and have a sausage biscuit. It's a real scene.
>You've never been to a McDonalds early AM have you?
No, I haven't. Because I'm not old or poor.
>most of the old men meet there to drink coffee and have a sausage biscuit
Cool. That can just stop happening. They can meet in a park, house, community center, retirement home, or something else if they want to.
>No, I haven't. Because I'm not old or poor.
lol, you never had friends right. It's so common to go out and eat on Mcdonalds after a club at 7/8AM
I don't go clubbing.
imagine defending the position of denying old people the right of free assembly
lmao
fricking communists, i swear
He didn't denied dumb fricking Black person, just said they should go elsewhere, learn English dindunuffin
>He didn't denied
and you're telling me to learn english? lmao
he clearly hates old people and wants to ban them from assembling in their chosen location.
frick you
>Cool. That can just stop happening.
utterly based post.
cope n sneed
you will never bring back marxism, you genderqueer homosexual
incredible bubble you live in
go out and live life sometime
try camping or a road trip
something basic that involves leaving the city you live in
you'll beg for McDonald's
love the seethe
just pointing out that you're a loser in a website of losers.
I don't want to be infected with your past-midnight loser obsessions so I'm going to be the bigger man here and leave you to be a loser by yourself.
There needn't really be any sort of inside access to such a place. Just a terminal outside to pay (no cash obviously, that's obsolete) and a small hatch that opens up to allow access to your McSloppa with Cheese. The whole idea of dining in at a place like McDonald's doesn't really need to be a thing any more.
It's really funny how you can tell which posters are total miserable losers who have no friends
but where will all the Black folk hangout if they cant be in the mcdonalds
Prison
Sincerely, why don't we just force homeless, druggies, and the obese into camps and force them to exercise, do work, and learn a skill before they're allowed to leave?
(Real answer: israelites want the destruction of this country, not its enrichment)
Unironically hippies. Institutionalization was hard opposed by hippies and liberal activists. Then they turn around and Blame Reagan because he didn't want the federal government paying for state-level services, something Jimmy Carter tried to cram into his last days in the office and never even got implemented. Left wingers are responsible for most of the bad things in the US then rewrite history to blame everyone else
Because that would cost money, especially if done in a white first world fashion.
That's literally it. Hobos are nimbyism personified, every city hates having to deal with them but nobody wants to deal with them effectively because that would require people to pay an extra buck next April 15.
Because people would notice some racial disparities.
i hate self checkout and i don't eat judeo-american lard-filled "food" so no thanks
you'd be happy if they used real lard.

I wonder how well fortified that building is against nog attacks / vandalism.

what would be worth stealing in there? it's probably also a cashless business
>what would be worth stealing in there?
Burgers.
>mcBurgers
>worth stealing
If they are anything like the Boongs here in Aus, they will steal anything. You never want to have your car parked outside in a Boong infestation, especially if you have a full tank of petrol.
Black folk will just make a mess of things for fun.
Guess we'll find out during the next power outage or peaceful protest.
No need for fortifications when everything is insured anyway.
I am just waiting for the time when robo-cops will get called racist for beating up nog stealer bots
I like talking to people.
why?
I'm a human being.
Gross.
what the frick are you doing on BOT
I'm very lonely and have nobody to talk to.
hi anon. hope your day is going well.
talking to people?
you talk to people at fast food restaurants? holy child rapist
Same. Humans are social animals, You will inevitably wither away if you don’t have a social circle.
YOU're an animal, goy.
Have fun withering away.
You will never be happy
How absurdly social do you have to be to force small talk with some mcdonalds employees? I'm trying to order my nuggies over here and your ass is in the way
Talk to the other customers or go with your friends.
You have friends, right?
homosexual
>I like talking to people.
I don't eat garbage but if I did I'd prefer the automated version since I won't have to worry about some wagie jizzing in my salad or something
Lmao. There's still cooks back there, apathetic managers, and somebody who likely does a bit of cooking/controlling the mobile order machine. Then the maintenance crew who will be on call to repair the machinery.
All they've really done is replace a human taking orders directly and a human handing you your food at the window. Which was the shittiest job in most fast food places anyway. It's like them automating a secretary or a retail cashier, the worst job with the most complaints. Now the people that cook/maintenance/manage get paid slightly higher for the important jobs.
That's the truth with how automation is right now, everyone some OP posts a thread like this they pretend that every single part of the restaurant will be automated instead of the part that no one likes to do, customer service.
It'll be the truth going forward until the food companies start shifting us over to 100% processed foods. Fast food is close, but it's still not quite 100% yet.
Once society becomes so demoralized we'll be willing to drive to an establishment, sit in line, and then pay for a plastic bag heated to temperature and served to us through a slot there'll always be humans on the inside doing the grunt work.
Maybe in about 40 years we'll reach a point where fast food places become factories and the only humans will be people keeping the machines going.
There'll be a How It's Made series on the inside of McDonald's, Burger King, Chic-fil-a, showing how your chicken nuggets get squeezed from a pre-measured tube of paste into bite-sized chunks directly into a vat of always-hot fry oil which feeds into a draining conveyor belt that has a flipper at the end tossing your nuggies into a catching bucket that funnels into cardboard boxes before being dropped into a plastic bag with your order reference ID (tied directly to your name and payment option) and deposited into a locked box that only your phone/fast food card can open.
If your order isn't picked up within 10 minutes it's dumped directly into a trash compactor that grinds the nuggies, plastic, cardboard, and a slurry mix back into the paste. The refurbished paste will be sold as Dollar Menu alternative nuggies.
Sometimes when people get an order of nuggies they'll wonder to themselves
>How do I know these aren't made from that shitty refurbished paste?
nobody will have an answer.
Also, the ice cream machine is still always broken. But mostly because the lockboxes with your order aren't temperature proofed due to cost cutting techniques and it always melts the ice cream. The maintenance crew that keeps the machines running will get made fun of for that fact.
>40 years
I'm going to shove that slothful crystal ball up your ass
>Dollar Menu alternative nuggies
i'm pissing my pants
Took a screenshot, good post.
I worked as a fast food cashier and the screen we use to take your order is literally just a touchscreen panel made for dumbasses. this was like 20 years ago too.
>hi I'd like a burger with no pickles
>presses the burger icon and then NO PICKLES
>and some fries
>presses the fry button
>when order is done the machine tells me exactally what to ask for money and even what kind of change to pickup so I don't have to do math with coins because I'm a minimum wage moron
All you have to do is turn the screen around from the wagie to the customer and they can do everything themselves. the only real issue is someone stealing money and that's not a problem when everyone is cashless
That's not the main issue, the main issue is the customers. They don't just turn the screen around and let the customer use the POS software because as moronic as wagies can be at times, the customers make them look like geniuses. Customers are unwilling or unable to read, understand cause and effect, or even grasp concepts like object permanence.
>Customers are unwilling or unable to read, understand cause and effect, or even grasp concepts like object permanence.
The worst here is that this is factually truth.
>be at lebanese restaurant earlier this year
>great place, good food if a touch salty for my taste.
>owner is based, is actually from Lebanon
>hates gays, et al, has signed pics of Trump behind the register
>says, "It keeps away people he doesn't want eating there."
>i'm paying my bill at the register, new girl there, kind of cute
>she is having trouble with change (coins)
>based owner walks over, counts the change for me
>as i'm walking away, I hear him ask her, "how did you graduate high school again?"
>the people that cook/maintenance/manage get paid slightly highe
HAHAHA, OH WOW
>fully automated
Also known as "operated by multiple human employees who simply aren't customer-facing until the robots frick up"
This place is going to be fully staffed the moment WiFi goes out.
why would any of these be on wifi and not hard wired?
Don't try arguing with 12 year old tourists
>"fully automated"
>only the ordering and handing people food parts are actually automated
>wagies are still in the back flipping burgers
its a good business model, the client wont be able to attack and belittle the robot. Or they could but to no avail
I hate that there's still people making the food. It's totally disingenuous to call it 'fully automated'. Also, is getting a machine to make mcdicks really taht hard? why can't they get a machine to do it?
can you imagine the chaos when the robot gives out a medium fry instead of a large fry to a fat karen in a giant suburban in the drive thru? her backing up the drive thru, refusing to move, screaming at the top of her lungs "EXCUSE ME? EXCUSE ME, HELLO? COME HERE. HELLOOOO???" to the little robot arm, slamming on the closing window and honking her horn
these interactions will fuel the first robo rebellions
People will do it regardless of their order being correct.
completely true
you already see the angry old men screaming to the kitchen staff at the restauraunts with the ordering kiosks.
>EXCUSE ME, EXCUSE ME, COME UP HERE AND TAKE MY ORDER. I WILL NOT DO YOUR JOB FOR YOU. COME UP HERE
Already got a plan for that scenario.
Just downloaded this show to watch it for the first time, only at 3:30 and it's proving to be good.
People are willing to do this way less when there are no humans involved for them to scream at. They'll just fume and leave and write a useless email to corporate later.
Automate guyslop slavery away. It's for the good of NEETs in the war against boomers. The human spirit be unchained
How long until it gets vandalized?
My thoughts are I will continue to not eat garbage food.
progress, Mc. Jobs were worse than being unemployed anyways
I'm a FLT operator in a warehouse. Went down this route back in 2005 after coming to the realisation I wasn't good enough for IT and programming for a job. Nor do I have the qualifications to do better paying jobs. When I became a forklift operator I thought it was a job for life, pay is better than min wage and the job not too bad. Now, 17 years later, pay is shit, job is go go go all day, frick your body, go hump some heavy shit onto a pallet. Everyone (warehouse workers, not management or office) is tracked in workload, drop back a tiny bit for any reason (like you've been unloading/loading more rather than picking) and it shows on your picking figures "why are you picking less than others".
Now the shit part is, automation is taking over warehouse jobs too. Our parent company uses a mostly automated warehouse. I've seen automated FLTs that can even load and unload trucks. This is the fricking end times for jobs. I hate that profit has ruined everything. Profit is what pushes the managers to treat us like shit. Profit will also get rid of us completely soon enough. Warehouse work is perfectly good work for a person to do provided management isn't c**ts. Frick this world.
>nooo my shitty manual labor job is being automated!
The 1920s called
Don't care. I hope even tech workers starve. I got mine, frick you homosexuals. The truth is every skill, every industry is speculative and if you don't get it while the getting is good frick you.
>Well, at least creative fields wont be automa-ak
>Well, if you lost job, just learn to cod-ak
>Oh, you lost your high paying job? At least McDonald is still hiri-ak
>UBI will fix everything and not just cause inflati-ak
How long until modern automation supporters finally lose excuses
At least they can't take my job as a professional NEET.
Your parents will lose jobs and it will be end to your parasite lifestyle
>implying the taxpayer isn't the one sustaining my parasitic lifestyle
>just learn to cod-ak
Cope
>How long until modern automation supporters finally lose excuses
When they realize the only way to progress further is ("real") communism.
What's the address? I live there and want to go figure out exactly what's automated and what isn't.
I'm betting this is just like that one taco bell with the automated delivery elevator thing.
this is like the equivalent of the that guy in the suit, there's still a bunch of hispanics in the back but you never see them as a customer
this is what the future will be, completely fake shit
also its just an automat like they had in the 50's
I WILL vandalise this if they appear in my area
Enjoy your criminal record. If these things aren't already papered with cameras hooked up to facial recognition and gait tracking software, they will be soon.
>gait tracking software
since when is it unsafe to fricking walk
Like 4 years ago. It's already common in China.
All that technology just so that America can perpetuate the spic-nig cycle.
BOT bros, tell me the truth: is elon going to give us wholesale chungus UBI on mars or is cyber-elon going to subjugate us to mining rare earth metals
yes
That would be a fun Bioshock game a dystopian mars colony
>Elon mars
we're gonna strike the earth, it'll be more like red faction
As someone who knows some of the team members who created the touchscreens I'm glad and kind of sad.
I'm in robotics/mechatronics automation AI rnd and the shit I see makes me wonder what the frick the majority of people will do in the future.
The whole argument people like the PragerU boomers put forward for capitalism is "someone needs to do the shitty jobs so that's why people have to be forced to work". Wonder what their new talking point will be once we don't actually need someone to do the shitty jobs.
Now that we don't need them we can recycle them into burger patty.
>I'm in robotics/mechatronics automation AI rnd and the shit I see makes me wonder what the frick the majority of people will do in the future.
This is what I worry about the most.
depopulation + deep dive vr and AI waifus
matrix
Build automated e-prisons for the proles who can't outcompete the machines.
There are still people inside, they have not automated those jobs (yet)
however lets assume they did that, and also other companies automated huge number of other wage slave jobs, now you have huge population that has no money and are turning homeless, in other words the main segment of population, the majority of mcdonals paying customers have stopped being customers. The profits slump and share value drops
Maybe they'll get my order right now. I fricking ordered unsweet tea, not sweet, fricking mongoloids.
How do they stop theft?
They don't, they just increase prices for paying customets to offset the losses
have you seen san francisco lately?
The minimum wage could be abolished and this shit would still be happening because the hourly wage of a robot is $0.
>hourly wage of a robot is $0
You're moronic. Maintenance and electricity make a robot certainly not 0$ wagie.
do it nationally, immediately
you have the money, don't you?
Artists take yet another hit to their income
under8ted
If the quality of the robots is the same as their softserve and frozen coke machines then I have grave concerns
They are almost never actually broken. Wagies are too lazy to clean them so they say they are broken.
I wonder how easy will be to loot those
Damn the fricking mcflurry machine is about to work real fast
I will rob these with my homies when they get them here
I had no idea there were so many Black folk on BOT. I don't really care because frick McDonalds, but you Black folk better stay away from my house.
>fully automated
does the cook get automated too? biggest concern i have about buying food is them spitting and cumming on it
No the kitchen is still here they just removed the counter staff.
>People still go out to eat after 2014
Fast food has never been fine cuisine, but its gotten noticeably worse over the past ~12 years. There used to be places in town where I'd think damn, I wish I could make slop the way they do, its delicious, but now its soo bad I know whatever I make at home is better. Sometime in 2012-2013 was when I i told myself I'd no longer eat anything from the big chains, and having robots doesn't change my mind either because I've worked around mechanized equipment (that never gets cleaned, or repaired), probably the most off putting thing about it is thinking about a piece of metal ending up in your food because cutting machine blades chip away after time.
They didn't automate the food making at all, relax. Now the cooks will be free to spit inf your food because there's no link at all between them and the customers.
Good on the person maintaining them. Bad for the wagies being replaced by it.
If the internet goes down the machine will stop operating. There's always some sort of remote control/DRM on food process machines, and for whatever reason the companies are headquartered in Europe, so you have to make emergency phone calls to have Sven reset the machine when the power goes out or nobody in the place knows how to operate the machine. I'm betting right now that the people building/servicing these machines will be contracted out to European companies.
>If the internet goes down
cool something that won't ever happen
you know there are entire jobs dedicated to keeping uptime has high as possible, right?
>eating at McGoyim's
finally my spicy chicken patty won't be missing on my spicy mcchicken.
capitalism is hecking epic
Japan and other parts of Asia have stores which are literally just vending machines.
Any "DEY TURK OUR israeliteBS" logic is just a histrionic knee jerk reaction.
Japan and other parts of Asia don't have Black folk.
>Unmanned noodle stores
God damn it, we'll never have this comfort in the west.
it's a fricking hot water dispenser
have sex you weeb Black person
There's probably less than $100 worth of noodles visible throughout that entire store, and there are obvious cameras everywhere.
Japanese police also do their jobs, and you bet your ass they will throw you in a cell for stealing $10 worth of food.
pretend that would matter if this thing was in new york (or worse, anywhere in california).
not just about the noodles, the hot plate machines (hm says induction on them) and chairs would be gone and there would be spray paint on the ceiling.
if it was in china the nails inside the walls would probably be gone.
That kind of shop would be fine in 95% of the US. It's just a few completely broken and corrupted cities full of homeless monkeys and no law enforcement where it wouldn't work, and that'll self-correct soon enough.
95% sounds optimistic. regardless it's not far to drive to wherever the criminal checks that there is a self-service shop. at the very minimum everything will be bolted down and the noodle packages won't be reachable more than 1 at a time and only after you pay for it.
im not pretending that shop would work everywhere in south korea though.
It would work fine once we remove Black folk like you from society who keep fantasizing about shitting and spraypainting and stealing everything when there isn't somebody present to stop you. You are what is wrong with society.
>n-no you are the Black person!
at least you immediately realized the issue, lol
Just post the dumb video.
I don't know how to convert to webm
lol imagine how many human shits are gonna be taken on those benches.
*shits in the corner of the restaurant* clean it up robot!
I give it a week before the place is filled with drug users and no one actually goes there because of human faeces, needles, hobos, and Black folk drinking sweet water directly out of the taps.
god I hope so
Would such a place still be profitable due to unsold inventory being written off as a tax write off?
Uh, it's Texas, not whatever shitlib black hole you're spiralling into.
Have you ever been to Texas?
Fact checked
LMAO
How do you know that the kitchen is not run by Africans?
NO HUMANS!
That's simply a first step towards and inevitability.
So they're like Smullers in the Netherlands. They've had hotdog and hamburger vending walls for ages. This is the same thing, just more expensive and stupider.
Automat. The format has been around for over a century. Was even considered haute at one time.

OH SAY YOU CAN SEEEEEEEEE
Just Black person back on to Black persontown and let us eat our burgers in peace.
and you wonder why they don't exist in america
They already experimented with a fully automated one a while back. Might have gotten chimped so they closed it.
>rationale
lol no. the real thing about this is a stepping stone.
first you make the customer get used to paying for and getting the stuff without seeing a different human.
eventually you set up a central place where they cook all the food, which will then be able to ship out to these locations. people will be used to not smelling food cooking and not seeing anyone so they might not even realize it is getting re-heated.
meanwhile you wait for price of robotics to come down, eventually there's no human chefs in the central production facility. there won't be a need to deploy robots everywhere, probably cheaper and won't add much quality so just have them in 1 place for every big city. just need a couple of guys around for basic maintenance.
>first 7 seconds are on the automation, rest of the video are useless panning shots of nothing.
why do they do this
GOOD. We'd all prefer not to deal with these people anyways.
This is fine
So it's just a bot that pushes the bag outside?
Probably an employee also has to put the bag there.
based. frick Black folk for forgetting to put the fricking cheese on my big mac.
You will stop having human interactions and you will be pleased about it.
cant help but get the impression that this shit is like half the speed of just having a guy at the counter
look at how slow this shit is
how well will it handle its first day of operation when basketball americans come in?
>don't have to interact with a wagie that will spit in your food because you looked at them funny
Wish we had those here
Anime website.
Viagra was invented for hypertension. Is viagra a hypertension drug?
this is good, now I can get cheaper food with my govt handouts.
The only thing a human does in this process is take your order and input it on a machine anyway. So it makes sense to cut them out since the only thing they add is mistakes and an attitude for you forcing them to look away from their phone.
Where are the artists protesting the great injustice being done to the workers?
>if we raise the minimum wage then prices will go up
>prices go up anyway
>automates some wagies
>prices don't change
hmm
The great elitist grift.

Neet bros stay comfy
How'd that Great Resignation work out for you lefties? lmfao
If we don't start moving towards UBI now then it will be too late when it happens and we are going to have a crisis. No job is safe from ai.
>But my job is safe so we don't need it
No its not and we still need it because even if it were safe every living person can't work in your field.
It was like pulling teeth to get one round of means tested checks to people when there was mass unemployment from covid lockdowns. UBI would help but even when a situation forces it politicians would rather people suffer.
>UBI
frickoff yang-gang homosexual
you had your 15 minutes already
I would stay at home and save the energy costs of going into a McDonalds and working for a low wage, and they can pay me with their tax.
At home I can grow weed and food on my own.
wagies on suicide watch
I hope they add a gun that descends from the ceiling to shoot disruptive Black folk.
SOVLESS
FRICK AROUND AND FIND OUT
This is what happens when entitled servers threatening bioterrorism if you don't give them a tip b***h hard enough about raising minimum wage. You get replaced because companies finally realize it's more cost efficient to replace your complaining homosexual ass with a robot.
I hate the food service industry, I want them all to lose their jobs. Let's eradicate the practice of tipping by making robots replace them all.
But will it actually save money long term?
I don't see the government actually going down the path of banning AI and automation technology. However I think what will happen is that it's only a matter of time before they legislate it so that any company using AI or automation has to pay higher taxes which will be redistributed to people without jobs.
It would be stupid to ban AI/automation. China's factories already outproduce our economy, their economy is already undergoing rapid automation as well. With their population becoming more and more educated, the labor forces will go into finances/services like the Americans did but without sacrificing the factories. Plus with shrinking population, it means their population will stabalize ~~600-700M by ~2080 or so.
While I'm sure there would be some resistance, said companies would likely agree because that is still cheaper than keeping human employees, as well as gives customers more money to spend on them.
It's self-fulfilling.
i think its awesome. have you ever dealt with lazy mcdonalds employees that dont give a frick?
id rather deal with no people at all
are machines really cheaper than wagies?
those machines must cost a lot
There's a lot of moving parts to fail there
I doubt it'll be cost effective for more than a few years, even if well maintained, as a single failure will shut down the drive thru completely for at least a day unless you have a bunch of spare parts and maintenance personnel at all times
Knowing McD's, they won't spend enough money to keep these machines running reliably
Having worked in the restaurant R&D department of an industrial automation company, I can say that the store OP posted is meant for data collection from this experiment and isn't the intended final outcome. There won't be any 100% automated restaurants but what will happen is that the workflows will be highly automated so a small crew of just a couple of people can operate multiple brands at the same time. Think of those combo KFC/Taco Bell stores and multiple that by five or six.
One product-flow we worked on would have customers order from an app on their phone (no surprise there) and when their order is ready, direct them to one of six pickup windows. Payment would be through the app and the customer's location would have to be enabled do there was no confusion with you going to the wrong multifront location. Ordering ahead of time would be allowed with the goal of having the food ready right as the customer's vehicle comes onto the property, though there would be parking spots for waiting if an order wasn't ready or for those who need to park to make their order. Eating on the premises would be highly discouraged but they're not going to have anyone run customers off who do eat there as long as they don't loiter when they're finished.
A all-walkup version was worked out too but mixing the two creates too many issues. The walkup version likely would be co-located with an existing business like a big box store or large workplace. It's not just fast food they're planning for, it's also fast-casual restaurants like Panera and even casual dining like Applebee's. These locations typically would have an area for customers to eat their meals if they wish.
(cont.)
(cont.)
As for break downs, the person on the crew who is the manager would be trained on correcting basic malfunctions. Initially these multifront locations would be in area of high population density so that one repair depot could have its cost amortized over several nearby locations. Processes the most prone to mechanical malfunctions would be the last to be automated, if ever at all.
You could be bullshitting but at the same time, that seems like the logical conclusion of fast food: maximum market reach with minimal real estate, employment, and other opex
I bet the hedge funds who invest in fast food holdings are salivating over the possibilities
In a way it almost already exists with ghost kitchens. The next step is expanding the concept to the drive-thru and to more restaurant types. The bigger thing seems to be giving up the sci-fi fantasy of having anything that 100% automated. There are always going to be some tasks that are simple for even mouth breathing morons but difficult for machinery, at least in an economical manner. Getting to 90%-95% automation seems doable. Space exploration is one of the few places where 100% is desirable as watery bags of meat in space are difficult and expensive to maintain.
Does it have lower prices to not have to pay for the wages? If not it's a scam for McDicks to pocket more money
Unionists and armchair socialists btfo
Butlerian Jihad
unironically this. it's what'll end up happening. the human population is about to plummet, people are about to just be dying in the streets freezing to death, and it will cause so many social and economic disasters for the worker class masses. but the owner class is set, so they don't give a shit and nothing will change and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it without getting murdered by their enforcers. what's the worst that happens, feudalism straight-up just comes back and they get slaves again? ohhh noooo that sounds so horrible for them.
There have been plenty of cases where wagies spit food on customers without customers knowing them, especially if wagies are from third world. I fully support but only for restaurant sectors.
Free Glock with every purchase over $50, and I'm there.
Weird, because the minimum wage in Texas is $7.25/h not $25.
Also, wonder how great that McD works right now without any electricity. Thank the moronic GOP puppet Ted Cruz for yet again not having done anything positive for the infrastructure in his state. The guy should honestly be held personally accountable by now.
Accelerate.
The higher unemployment gets, the faster we get to UBI. Redistribute the rich.
I love how le nazi BOTg is starting to become unironic socialist
Nazi is short for National Socialist.
shampoo is made of feces
I never said I agreed with Nazis smartass, just that wanting a UBI doesn't necessarily conflict with National Socialism.
Do you actually expect people to quit arguing long enough to enforce a UBI? Corrupt corpos and governments aren't exactly going to give it out of the kindness of their hearts.
This happened and people were only given one check if they met certain criteria. All the existing "pilot programs" seem to be set up to fail and make UBI politically toxic. It's just not going to happen. The only hope for a dignified living after AI advances would be a remote job guarantee. No gig shit, no micro tasks, no busy work, just a simple menu of jobs.
not my problem, I'll be dead by the time society is in full swing AI replacement
at least while I am alive I can pursue my dream of advancing sapient life by helping to support replacement of the human race with robots
You'll be dead in 10 years?
god i wish 10 years is all it would take
unfortunately we're still a LONG way from things like general artificial intelligence and self-replicating bipedal robots with the physical range of motion and dexterity of bioforms
And what exactly would a working UBI program look like?
Social Security but not just for boomers.
im unsure what the future looks like but its probably reasonable to assume the rise of automation will create a shitload of tertiary jobs
This is what's going to happen. People better learn to build, repair, and program, because that's the future.
Tertiary jobs are getting automated right now nigguh.
The Moravec's paradox will ensure human hands are a ton more efficient, and cheaper, than robots at certain tasks, hence it will protect certain jobs.
For now, at least.
AI researchers are working on general porpoise robots and thanks to virtual simulations and advances in videogames, testing manual bots is easier then ever. Reminder that Moravec paradox was invented in 1988, at a time when 3D video games barely existed beyond couple of triangles and had no real use as simulations, even in the 3D animation space.
Simply playing with the bot and giving it instructions is enough to make it learn manual work, and as we see here with even McDonald wegies being expensive enough to deserve automation, we see that there will be big rush into automating all manual labour once there is a way to do it. Truckers are already automated btw, it just takes a while for society to transition, especially if that transition requires buying brand new trucks. And as you can see on the video, hand-eye coordination is becoming less of a problem each year. Manual workers will outlast 2D artists, lawyers and junior codemonkies, but I am not sure if they will outlast writers, doctors and senior programmers that require brand new textbot model that is not language model to be invented (language models don’t remember stuff and will never learn how to write multiple pages of text that won’t lose context, new model is needed for this). Or even 3D artists, since 3-5 similar images from different angles is not enough information to create high detail 3D model with internal parts, not to even mention creating good topology and so on, current models just make 3 images and then photoscan them, something that won’t just easily scale like diffusion models.
>general porpoise robots
manateebros...
Too late.
Many businesses are able to go full automated and the ones that can't, with a bit of bank money can. They don't do it because too many people would end up jobless, that's why they're trying to reduce the population
>reduce
Refugees Welcome!
based. work is slavery.
left is kinda cute but hairy and fricking moronic. right is hopeless gargoyle and needs to kys already
troony-fricker
ICE does need to be replaced though. If they weren't useless morons we would have less hispanics and no sanctuary cities.
Both look like a men.
that's because they are men
>full autonomous
except people are cooking the food in the kitchen
fricking bait shit thread
Why Texas? Why not some place that matters like Chicago or California or New York?
>some place that matters
>Chicago
my sides
Ethnic demographic make of texas was a deciding factor.
>new higher-requirement jobs get created, raising the upper limit
>middle- to low-requirement jobs become the new low-requirement jobs
>people adapt
the cycle continues
On one hand
>no more Black folk spitting in your food.
Pretty based.
On the other hand... why would anyone eat that goyslop unless you are traveling and are forced to due to lack of options or time.
>goyslop
It's dried noodles and salt, not corn syrup.
>goyslop
holy cope
>doesn't know what goyslop is
cheap, mass produced crap for proles
thank me later, anon
are you really presenting this picture as an argument towards how your sides memes are more intellectual?
Yes, the right wing ubermensch memetic ability truly is a sight to behold.
Frick Black folk.
hahaha society is collapsing in real time and there's nothing we can do about it. 😀
>2 (literally exactly 2) minimum wage workers have their jobs replaced by robots
>society is collapsing
my deams have come true
>Fully automated
>Two employees in the back
?
if amazon go stores have to hire humans specifically to assist idiots who cannot into using their phones, what makes you think mcdonalds can fully automate their stores?
also this dude retweets self-proclaimed sex trafficker and sand durka andrew tate...wonderful
>first stable diffusion
>now this
artists just can't catch a break huh
decent sex bots are a few years away though so they will still have work
women are going to go nuclear on any sexbot or AI companion technology. it WILL be made illegal by the government
i don't know about that, they could be made for women as well if combined with AI and a woman could always just decide to get pregnant via sperm bank.
based, socialists BTFO and eat shit
But wouldn't automation further socialism if it were used for the people?
Automation is very expensive, and it's always used to lower cost in the long run. Nobody does that for charity.
Those buggies have no soul.
I looked forward to my order finally being correct.
I look forward to not having to tip and not being a victim of biological terrorism by an upset server.
Nobody tips at fast food restaurants.
The point is that this should be applied to the entire food service industry, not just fast food.
What's interesting about this video isn't the fueling, it's that the microwave isn't locked down and the supplies for coffee likewise are wide open for anyone to steal but the owner doesn't seem to be concerned that will happen. Even the table could be stolen but apparently in that area, such things aren't likely. Somebody probably comes by a couple times a day to check on things and to refill the sugar and creamer packs.
Have these people never been to a costco? Their gas stations are completely unmanned other than a tard wrangler.
>Unmanned except for the person who is there
Not sure what you're getting at. Also Costco gas stations tend to be in the parking lot of a Costco, which is very different than a freestanding convenience store. Are you saying there are freestanding Costco gas stations that have immobilized attendants where food and beverages are sold and microwaves are available for use? Really struggling here to come up with a way you could have watched those videos and come up with the thought "Hey, that's just like Costco!" while also somehow excluding the "tard wrangler" because you don't think they're human.
HAHAHA I MADE A THREAD ABOUT BOTS TAKING OVER TWO WEEKS AGO LMAOOOOO. Retail cucks BTFO when?
For areas where security is an issue, there's SmartMart.
Ideally the people would come together so that the robots belong to the people rather than the elite....good fricking luck
Look, I've been fed the same bullshit you zoomers heard in high school: $60k out of college is supposed to be a decent starting point. Of course, when you see maccas offering $20, you freak out because $60k suddenly seems very little and its easy to blame "minimum wage." In reality, getting a bachelors should easily net you a $100k job. There's plenty of fricking money around, but yall want to argue about $20/hr, as if thats even that much money to begin with.
That twitter post makes zero sense because the minimum wage in Texas is 7.25 an hour
This is based as frick, but I don't really know why they bother having a building and don't just turn it into a vending machine.
If you're the mcdicks corpos, surely you know that people are fricking animals and absolutely filthy in public places. If there's a building with no staff to kick people out and keep them civil, it'll turn to shit.
If they put all the machining behind a wall and then people could stand in the street, they can shit all over the sidewalk and at least the rain and weather can kinda get rid of it.
Honestly though, it's a step in the right direction. I do hope that all this automation allows people who would otherwise work minimum wage jobs that they hate, to be able to do something they actually want to do.
Idk, it'd be good to try and make the world less dystopian so people aren't just slaves to the machine.
>to be able to do something they actually want to do
giving the unwashed masses a lot of credit here
there are people that can't even visualize things, they just perpetually react to the moment
Yeah you're right. It'd probably end up with a bunch of useless people who scroll instagram and tiktok all day and a bunch of people who pop out kids until they've got way too many of them.
Yep, my brother spent 10 years of his life playing guitar and Ultima Online when he was on welfare. He created absolutely nothing in that time. Got a job only after they took his welfare from him. I bet it would be the case with 99.9% of population if we had UBI.
>why they bother having a building and don't just turn it into a vending machine
1. People are used to the mcdonalds being buildings.
2. As we move to a """brighter, cleaner, greener future"""" where people don't use cars anymore due to being priced out and/or government bans on driving in certain areas, people will want to have a shelter while they order and wait for their food when the weather is bad. And that building can accommodate eating it there too, but it's not furnished for that right now because cleaning tables would be one more thing to automate.
3. The automated kitchen still needs a building's hookups for water and electricity.
4. At least for now, the automated kitchen still needs a person or two around to keep the machines running smoothly.
you end up paid more for equipment and engineers to fix machine, rather than hire Black person monekys
You still keep one semi-trained Black person monkey to keep shit clean and running, and can let go the rest. Automation and AI won't make people obsolete - they will only make 90% of people obsolete.
This is nothing new they already did this at the Sydney airport Mcdonalds.
meh, this is more of an art installation than true process automation. wagies still wage in their little aquarium, for everyone to see.
>try to destroy people's jobs
>G-d punishes you with arctic ice sotrms, blackouts and starvation
Should have just paid up the 25 bucks texan chudsters
Pretty cool ngl
would 100% slop on those botburgers
"This is a contemporary fast food restaurant combining classical neo-Georgian features with all the advantages of modern design. The customers arrive in the entrance hall here, are carried along the corridor on a conveyor belt in extreme comfort and past murals depicting Mediterranean scenes, towards the rotating knives. The last twenty feet of the corridor are heavily soundproofed. The blood pours down these chutes and the mangled flesh slurps into these large containers..."
if there is a line of more than 2 people at any time It has failed
not my problem
