Define "too far".
As in the general public starts turning against further AI improvements and implementation.
There is no general of the public.
Misidentifying a father's images of his young son that he had taken for his pediatrician as CSAM.
sorry but markov chain bots aren't AI
a good example of going too far, but it's not AI
Long after it's too late to stop it.
When it's gone up my butt.
ask me in 50-100 years, when AI has been created
when it is too late
Hopefully never. I pray AI will develop a solution that will wipe humanity from existence. It is a species that does not deserve to reach space, let alone make contact with another species capable of complex communication.
there is zero evidence so far that such a species exists, we might very well be the first
we have no idea how likely the formation of intelligent life is, what if we're the one chance this universe gets
would be a shame to just kill it off
When it's too late, like anything else people do.
Never because the AI would just disagree with them. This post could be AI and you would never know.
Once we can run things as powerful as GPT-3 / Dall-e / whatever locally. Imagine the news articles about all CP being generated by AI, except unlike the current state the companies providing the models can't put filters around search terms.
>At what point will people see AI as going too far?
until govt tell them, haven't you learn anything this past 2 years?
being able to vote and run for office
>At what point will people see AI as going too far?
When its too late.
>When MY job is taken over
lol, no.
i will pay more to never have to talk to a pajeet or shaniqua csr ever again.
just the internet (no ai) has done wonders for wait times at the dmv. i can't imagine even the most genocidal ai somehow being less efficient than human government.
