      Anonymous

Lol, they're already passing laws in states like California to ban deep fakes. Once someone hacks into Twitter and unleashes GPT-n on it to mimic blue checks and start having conversations, or creating Tor clones with architecture so convoluted that penetrating it would be near impossible, this shit will get clobbered by tech dunces in Washington.

I'm sure the military would be way enthused to have civilians building sniper drones that run on advanced facial recognition. Better yet, how about high flying drones that use similar technology to straight up kidnap people, similar to a robot Pterodactyl? Once lawmakers wrap their brains around the literal endless ways in which this tech could be abused, it'll be banned for civilian use shortly thereafter.

        Anonymous

Yes, let us discuss our current working schematic of this pterodactyl bot, fellow anon. After that, we will get on our secret hidden server and work on that sniper drone, good progress on that one.

There's no such thing as "AI", it's just advanced skip logic. "AI" is a marketing term, you won't see real AI in your lifetime, or in several lifetimes, if ever. Even the people at the bleeding edge of research don't know if AI is even possible.

Human driving will be made illegal.
Maybe even human writing (as long as its not in line with the world government, but to make every human have "the same rights", the easiest way to achieve that is to ban "hateful" human writing).

Can't see that happen to AI. It will always bend its ass to the people that control it. And our governments=media=elites probably bet on that being themselves.

      No it won't.
What will happen instead is they'll drive registration and license fees so high and infringements so ludicrous that only the wealthiest % of our population get the liberty to drive.

They are literally pushing enslavement full throttle and that's because covid convinced them that it's genuinely possible to do.

Well really it's all part of the plan if you followed the soros connections in Wuhan.

          On a side note:
Soros is tricky, what he does is control "open society" things merely to control them.
They're not open at all, they're just a form of "Embrace, extend, and extinguish".

it won’t work, the whole world is not North Korea and not China. the government has big power, but it is rather tied to resources and not so limitless as to completely isolate and have 1984 as in North Korea. they can't push too hard. well, depending on the democracy and wealth of the country, they press to population for the time being can tolerate price increases and some small law associateв with multiraces and BLM there, but an attempt to make a dictatorship and cruel laws will immediately create a riot

Did two elective lectures in that field during my regular CS MSc. There are a few metric fricktons of bullshit in ML.
What you are learning there is at best superficially related to what happens at the forefront and that changes very rapidly.
Also a (small?) warning: Learn the signs of when ML simply doesn't work the way you wanted it to and learn to guesstimate what you need to change to make it work.
They simply don't teach you that in the lectures. No idea why. But if you specialize hard on ML, you'll probably learn those signs and the fixes the hard way yourself. Good luck!

Already in the process in Australia.
The mainstream media is already shilling against it hard and politicians are using their roundabout ways of controlling it already, in particular violence/sexual violence against women and children, as the trigger to enable this.
It's not there to stop it, it's merely that think tanks literally are careers for people to shill against this shit and obtain vocal outlets in the media.

Then you have the glowBlack person/corporate/underbelly issues that also trying to push this. That's why DRM is being pushed super hard now because they know they aren't making anything of actual substance and their income/assets are merely inflated through the use of these mere legal novelties.

        >It is nothing but controlling those without the ability to hold themselves to legal costs.
this could be solved if we diched all laws and have programers write laws in code. Even the worst code would outperform this shit and since code cant be ambiguous and interpreted as you wish.

          Incorrect.

The only thing that matters is physical enforcement. The rest is a mere cult of law reliant on the obedience to it by enforcing groups and parties.
Law is becoming more and more obsolete just like how it was at the end of the Roman Republic.
