Well, I asked an AI for some literal plagiarism. How'd it do? What direct copies that can't be explained by mere coincidence do you see? Show receipts.

If you go beyond 2/3rds waifu portraits, it becomes painfully obvious, that the AIs shallow dataset just recombines existing pictures in an obvious and pathetic way.
I just randomly searched for a 'mars rover' picture, and this is what I got in image search. Top is artist created, bottom is obviously SD. Not only it is clearly plagiarized (to the point the search algo tagged it as 'similar') but its also irredeemably shit. One would need to fill the AI with millions of mars rover images (drawn by actual humans) to get something decent.

if the images are so bad then there's nothing to complain, also you're taking one example and disregarding the other ones, even if it takes you 100 attempts, it's far better than paying an artist to plagiarize other humans

AI art is overblown and will quickly devolve into almost entirely nonsense unless you get some kind of strictly curated datasets to draw from.
even still at best it's going to mean a lot less talented people are going to be needed and a lot more extremely mediocre people of rank and connections will be able to take their place.
