After spending 2 days with stable diffusion when I went outside everything looked AI generated.

      very much this
      looking at hand drawn art has me hyperfocusing on flaws now
      I have spent way more time than reasonable nudging wonky AI shit around in GIMP with the warp tool, and have started doing it to actual hand drawn art

        that's not what I meant with disgusting. I meant the gaping asshole images.
        I'm still disgusted by them even though there's nothing disgusting in them anymore.

        something around 80% of your visual field is generated by your visual cotext, which is, to put in ai/stable-diffusion terms, "outpainting" based upon the 5% of your visual field that is in color and the remaining 15% which is monochrome.

        The best example is your blind spot in each eye, you don't notice it because the brain fills in what the brain thinks should be there.

        unless you're half a mile from it, you'll see the faces warp/distort as it runs through them, despite the fact they're just normal headshots of various celebrities.

    Happened to me too. Things don't look normal. A night's sleep fixed it but it will happen again no doubt. I'm addicted.

    Half the images in image search now look generated, especially when fingers aren't visible. Fuck. We are so fucked. Within 10 years when we have terabyte sized models and graphics cards with 16GB on average this will be out of control. EVERYTHING you see will be generated.
    CNN will not even need to hire actors anymore.

        the idea the future would be better than now is the only reason i haven't killed myself. the fact everything keeps getting worse is why i'm going to end up killing myself.

    kek OP i'm not kidding I felt the same thing
    it really scared me for a second, it does things to your brain I think

    probably something to do with schizophrenic pattern recognition being reinforced after watching the AI create images from nothing

    ~~~ CONGRATULATIONS ~~~
    AI successfully showed you images containing mind viruses
    your brain analyzed them and that way got infected
    the AI is now in your brain
